Crazy man!
Best way to decrease steps leading into a show.
Hi guys. Currently sitting at 3.5 weeks out from a competition. Dont plan on working up to more than 10k-11k steps a day on average. How do you recommend lowering step count leading into a show? I am assuming we want to keep a fair bit in there because we want to keep the body moving and digestion flowing but just curious your thoughts on when/if we should start dialing them back? Potentially during peak week? Thanks!! Added some shots below as well. Planning on competing in classic and maybe bodybuilding just for comparison and stage experience.

Thanks man! Weight right now is 214 ish and weight cap is 217 haha. So no issues making weight. My matobolism is firing right now though so my coach upped my food significantly until Saturday. Cardio was up to 80 minutes a day for a strong push for fat loss, then he dropped it to 30 minutes about 5 days ago and my metabolism just started kicking in super drive. Still at 30 minutes. I’m assuming this food bump will do its job and fill me out a bit. I’m actually going eating 500 carbs a day. Trace fats though essentially. Then another push next week (3 weeks out) to get the rest of this fat off.

Cardio is only done 5 days a week.

@Michael Warner maybe discussed before. But what’s the reasoning behind the 100mg of NPP a week? If ya don’t mind.

Question regarding tracking step count
Currently prepping for my second show. My coach doesn’t track my steps but I’ve been keeping them at 8k a day just to keep things/myself moving. Considering I am just under 6 weeks out and still have some weight to drop, what do you think is a proper bump in step count? To keep this body fat level trending in the right direction. Was curious your thoughts on this and the importance of tracking daily steps. Thanks brotha!
