Opinions on fragrance discounters
Hello everyone, happy HalloweenšŸŽƒšŸŽƒ I have been thinking about expanding my tiny fragrance collection and have just discovered online fragrance discounters. Do any of you have experience shopping on those sites? Are the fragrance authentic and is the chance of leakage high during the shipping process? I am located in Canada so the site I will likely choose is Fragrancebuy. Do any of you have experience shopping there? Thank you very much for your time 😁😁

@Carl Ronny Birkeland I know it has been quite some time, but I have finally got my order from fragrance net. Everything was smooth and great, so if anyone is considering shopping there, i would definitely say go for itšŸ‘

@Justin Darling I have always wanted to wear more wool trousers, but couldn’t get myself into it since most of them require dry cleaning šŸ˜‚

@Chad Smith the hem does hit slightly long, but with shoes on it is decent and won’t affect the visuals. It is also my tailor’s recommendation to leave it slightly longer since this pair of pants is new and haven’t been washed yet. She said the pants might shrink a little after the first wash.
Vintage leather jacket
Hi I've got a question about this old leather jacket and I'm not sure about the style and how to dress it up. It's heavy thick leather and it comfortable but is it just to old and out dated?? Thanks

I am no expert, but I do love leather jacket very much. Brown is not the typical colour I’d like to go with. I feel like brown is a very rugged, yet mature and elegant colour, but this looks really great on you sir. You can definitely tell the leather is not brand new, but when I see the picture, I feel like I saw a man with stories. I would personally add a bit more contrast into the outfit, say like a cream or sand sweater instead of charcoal. If the top is a dark colour, the bottom could be something lighter like a light grey denim. It would actually go with most things if you can find one. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with less contrast, it’s just a matter of options and more ways to style it.
Expensive vs midrange vs affordable
Good morning gents! I’ve been looking at watches recently to save for and I have a few in mind, but I wanted to get a consensus on a question: is it better to buy an expensive name brand (Rolex, etc.) or buy a midrange brand (Tissot, Hamilton, etc.) or buy an affordable brand (Lucky Fours, Timex, etc.)? What’s the benefits in going higher or lower?

As much as I hate into say it, people do look at your watch and they do judge you by it. I know getting what you like is the most important, but if you are in industries where these things matter, it would be best to own one expensive one instead of 5 cheaper ones.
Designer Logo vs. No Logo
Hey everyone, I have a question for you. When I met my neighbor today in front of our house, I noticed she had a Louis Vuitton bag. Why did I notice it? Because the LV logo was all over it. I know this lady well - it was definitely authentic. I also recently noticed an LV scarf on someone whose clothing style I really admire. I looked up the price: new costs 400 EUR, secondhand still 200-250 EUR. A similar scarf without the logo? Often below 100 EUR. I'd like to hear your opinion about designer clothing and these famous logos. First, it's definitely a display of wealth - but only when it's authentic. Another aspect is that it can backfire. People might assume it's fake, that you're trying to look rich. And this happens whether the piece is original or actually fake. The third aspect is the actual value. How much would I pay for that LV bag without the logos? 50-100 EUR tops, instead of the 1,500 EUR for the original. You might say we dress for ourselves, which is absolutely right. But we also dress to create a first impression in those crucial first seconds. So my question is: when does it make sense to wear clothing or accessories from major brands that everyone recognizes?"

Most of my designer stuff are logoless just because I prefer a cleaner look, but I do not think all branded/logo items are bad. I think if you don’t overdo it and the logo doesn’t become the center of attention, it is something fun to add. Think of it like a patterned shirt with dots on it, but instead of dots, it is small subtle logos of the brand. That would look clean from afar, but interesting when closed up. I guess it’s about striking a balance where you can subtly flex and show your taste, but not trying too hard.
