SOTY Bad Boy le Parfum
Lot's of mixed opinions here. Many sem to agree that it's not blind but safe. I blind bought it and fortunately it's still my favorite and most unique of the bad boy line for me. It's also one of my most complimented fragrances. Very fresh for a leather based scent. Super simple notes too. Grapefruit and cannabis up top ( more of a green hemp than skunky bud ), geranium and black pepper in the mid and leather and vetiver at the base. Very aromatic and projects really well for at least 4-5 hours. It's now been 24 hours and I can still faintly pick it up on skin. I can see how it might be polarizing, but 8 sure was happy with this blind buy! I'm curious about any of your experiences with this one..

SOTD - Gentleman Givenchy edt
Another Rescented acquisition that came in yesterday. I figured I'd try out a Gentleman for the warmer weather so I grabbed the EDT and tried it out last night and will give it a full wear today. The opening is fruity with that pear note out in front which gives it a different feel than others out there. After a while the pear note tones back and the iris and vanilla move in. A slight powdery iris that mixes with the rest of the notes and is never in the forefront like the Privee. Just a slight touch of leather in the background. Best way to describe this is a mass appealing, youthful opening that dries down into a little more old school vibe. Projection on this is moderate but the longevity is a little underwhelming. Dries to a skin scent after a few hours. As with the majority of edt's out there, I'm going to overspray this. All in all, a really pleasant, easy reach fragrance that I'm glad I picked up. (and for the price I got it for - $25 for a 2oz that was 90% full!)

I think I may have found a replacement!!!
First and foremost I would like to share to the community a little bit of life updates. Originally when I joined this community, I was infatuated with fragrances but couldn't wear any of them in support of my wife who was expecting our second child, Baby AJ. I have come to finally share that we have since had our baby boy and he is the cutest thing in the world. I was so happy to have him enter the world healthy and full of life. But another reason for my joy is, you guessed it, I get to SPRAY AGAIN!!! In my joy, I was able to revisit a fragrance that I haven't tried before, but was pleasantly surprised with. That was Abercrombie & Fitch FIERCE! This is a really nice fragrance, but what surprised me about it was that it was very similar to a fragrance I asked about in this community a while back, AVATAR by Coty. Since being discontinued, it been really hard to find a bottle that I am willing to pay the price for. It was never really an expensive fragrance to begin with, so to see the price skyrocket was saddening. This fragrance was out back in '97, but I still feel like it can hold its own now days. Questions for the Brothers: What fragrance brings you back to a time filled with pure joy?

SOTD: New Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDP
Wore this new one yesterday. This one is really good. The opening has a rindy bite with a sugary sweetness, that stays throughout. I get citrus peel, cypress and Amberwood. Work safe/ spring and Summer/ Casual or formal/ daytime or evening. Longevity is about 6 hours with ok projection. I do get better projection with the original EDT. The EDP seems to sits closer to the skin for me. Presentation is very nice. I like the clear bottle and gold accents with a blue cap that snaps into place. The atomizer I think is an improvement from the OG. This fits right in as a flanker in this line. This will be in the summer rotation for sure.
