SOTD: Y Iced Cologne
I got this new one in yesterday and took it for a spin. This one reminds me of Y Eau Fraiche or EDT. This one has that classic Y DNA with a Minty opening with sage and Patchouli. This one is work safe / spring / summer/ daytime / casual. This one lasted all day about 8 hours with good projection of about 2ft of my skin. Presentation is the Y Bottle but nice a clear one with blue juice and a very good atomizer. This one may be redundant for some. Smell to make your own determination. I plan on spraying them side by side with the other ones that I have. I like this one for an office / spring summer time use. 8/10

Dreaming of warmer weather
Right now in southeastern Pennsylvania we have been dealing with some pretty frigid temperatures. Pretty much with highs at or hovering around the 20’s for over a week with lows in the negatives and its not predicted to ease for another week or two. I know this is nothing for my brothers in Chicago and Canada but for us here; it sucks! So in an effort to dream about warmer weather I started thinking of which fragrance I will bust out that reflects the newness of Spring. Yes I know its only January but… That being said, what style of fragrance would you be most inclined to wear as a signal to yourself and the world that its time to put away the heavy spicy vanilla scents and you are in warm weather mode. Please comment with a specific fragrance that corresponds with the category you voted for down below. Have a great day as I go and try and burn a chair for warmth.

Sotd: BBW Mahogany Teakwood
Clean and simpler Aventus DNA. If BBW discontinues this then there’s gonna be a riot. And ill be in the front lines.

100 percent agree. One of my favorite scents from B&BW. I own a back up bottle and a couple travel ones just in case they do lol
Premiering Dior Sauvage Elixir
After 1 year and 2 months of having this celebrity on my collection, I’m finally wearing it today 🎉😅🤣 Honestly, I was always getting a strong powdery nuance I just don’t like as much and, I was waiting for its hype and its dupes to cooldown. I don’t like to wear what everyone else is wearing 😑. So, it was about time. I have to confess that I’m enjoying it a lot. Obviously, I over-sprayed it like always (I don’t care what everyone else thinks about it) and I’m glad I did. I’m not getting the powdery nuance I don’t like that shows on the dry down when trying it on the arm or when I smell it on others that only use a couple of sprays. But the way I sprayed it makes me enjoy all the facets of the fragrance more intensely, as I like. I will definitely give this one more wearings now. 😬🫶🏼

Funny Compliment Story
Got a great fragrance compliment today. I think I have mentioned before that I don't get unsolicited compliments when wearing fragrances. It's only happened one other time at a restaurant when I was wearing LV L'Immensité. A couple sitting across the room raved about my scent and wanted to know what it was. Last weekend, I went on a first date and after thoughtful consideration, wore MFK Grand Soir. During drinks, the topic of fragrances came up and we asked each other what we liked, etc. She asked me to lean in so she could smell what I was wearing. When I did, she said it smelled "nice" but she wouldn't have picked it up from afar. $275 fragrance. No compliments. Last night, I went on another first date and after some serious contemplation, went with Xerjoff Monkey Special. The date went really well but ... crickets on the scent. MS is an acquired taste and it's possible that she just didn't like it. Who knows. $350 fragrance. No compliments. This morning, I had to rush my dog to the vet. Emergency situation and, fortunately, he's going to be okay. On the way out, one of the girls behind the reception counter said, "I have to ask you something that has nothing to do with Rocky (my dog)." I stopped in my tracks and wondered WTH was about to come next. Lol. She went on, "What cologne are you wearing because it smells amazing." The other two girls behind the counter started laughing and said they agreed and that they had all been talking about it for the last twenty minutes. Wow, I was definitely flattered. Before I left the house, without any thought whatsoever, I grabbed Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense and gave it six sprays. I didn't have the chance to shower before leaving the house and just wanted to put "something" on in case I was smelling nasty. After I told them what I was wearing, two of the girls wrote it down on a notepad. Lol. $60 fragrance. A veterinary hospital full of compliments. What's the moral of the story? I have no idea. Lol. But, I think I do much better with fragrance selection when I am not thinking much about it.

It is a very nice fragrance for sure. It is funny how some of my more inexpensive scents will get me attention. Ralph’s Club EDP I always get on and Dolce & Gabbana Intenso are probably 2 of my more complimented Frags
