Brothers, here are a few standout posts from the BOS community this week. 1. @Tim Nicklis — Least Favorite Fragrance in Your Collection 😬💨 Tim asked the question nobody wants to answer but everyone has an opinion on: what's your LEAST favorite scent? The thread exploded with blind-buy regrets, "loved it in the store, hated it at home" stories, and honest takes on what sits collecting dust. A must-read for anyone building a collection — learn from the community's misses: https://www.skool.com/bos/least-favorite-fragrance-in-your-collection 2. @Michael LoCascio Sr — The Hawas Rat Race Is Getting Insane 🏁 Michael's been collecting Rasasi Hawas flankers from the beginning — he's got 7 on the shelf — but the release pace is getting wild. The thread turned into a great debate about which flankers are actually worth it. If you're feeling the flanker fatigue, you're not alone: https://www.skool.com/bos/the-hawas-rat-race-is-getting-insane 3. @Lon Chaneyfield — Growth Within the Fragrance World 🌱 Lon dropped some real wisdom: too many collectors stay in the same lane, buying the same profiles, chasing the same trends. Growth means exploring. The thread sparked thoughtful discussion about evolving taste and stepping outside comfort zones. Read and reflect: https://www.skool.com/bos/growth-within-the-fragrance-world 4. @Nick Clemente — Frag Haul! Exploring the House of Zaharoff 🧳 Nick went deep on Zaharoff and shared his haul with the community. Brand discovery posts like this are how we all find our next signature scent. Things I regret about fragrances
Fantastic video. I agree with a lot of these points and have fallen victim to a lot of the same regrets. https://youtu.be/14ZSMysbarE I'd say my biggest regrets are 1). Buying on hype 2) Mass buying, especially at the beginning. He has a good point about some of it being necessary to find your style, but there are a LOT of bottles sitting on my shelf that I will never wear more than once or twice. 3) Overspending my budget. Using my credit cards to buy something I really should have waited for. Three years in, I don't do this anymore, and I've paid those cards off, but some of those fill me with regret as I see them collecting dust. 4) Getting scammed. I bought a Maison Margiela Replica Matcha Meditation on eBay that turned out to be a fake. It was $30, so I wasn't out a lot of money, but I ended up with a bottle of junk. It was a painful lesson once it was confirmed. I think this has happened to a lot of us in one way or another. 5) Collection paralysis. I have so many that it's become a burden to deal with. Trying to keep things clean, organized, and looking nice is a chore. I enjoy updating my spreadsheet and tracking my SOTD, but deciding what to wear regularly raises my anxiety levels. I've been taking the time to use up my samples so that I really get to know and enjoy them and grow with them to combat this, but it's something I struggle with all the time. Sometimes I feel like I'm chained to my collection a bit, and it's a constant weight to deal with. But on the plus side, I really feel like I know who I am as a collector now, and I feel like I've really developed a sense of what I value and what is interesting and worth my money and my time now. Perfumes have given me a sense of wonder and fun, and a way to communicate a piece of my self to the outside world. It's truly a beautiful thing. Would love to hear some of y'all's thoughts on this topic.

My regret would be the way I dove into it years ago. Doing quantity and completion over quality. If I was to do it again. I would limit to certain houses 1 designer house YSL or Chanel for my daily wears / formal 1 dupe house French Avenue or Afnan 1 Niche house with versatility Parfums De Marly

DesirToxic L'Intense / M. Micallef — deserves far more praise that it gets fresh , spicey , slightly dark and long lasting with great sillage. I Love this one, great signature scent.
