Ronin = Cool Kids Club
My twin bro bro and I were early members in @Travis Sago's Ronin group and has been one of the most potent communities we've ever been a part of. Now... we've not done a lot of the Ronin "moves" like running PSM's and BEAMER deals and such... but we've been working on creating our assets in a way to make them "Ronin-able" from the start. (licensing 🤤🤤🤤) But... I was curious. I ran the Ronin group through our "Cult Creator Quiz" to see how many points out of 22 the Ronin group hits. And like I thought.... Travey NAILS the front end... the sales side. All but 1 of the pieces are hit (and it really it's only HALF a point off...) THIS is why he's the king of PRE-selling and if you haven't got the books to help you pre-sell... what the FWACK are ya even doing... There's only a handful that are present on the community and classroom but it almost doesn't matter cause he hits all the most important pieces there.. A collective identity that people WANT to embody that is dripping in status ... a "Ronin". (a samurai that serves no master) Then what a Ronin DOES to become a Ronin (rituals)... - coffee dates - Tapping... Then what a Ronin SAYS (slang) - T1 -T3 - Pre sell sandwiches - So many doors to the candy store... Then showing how other Ronins are winning (hope) This is done... often. $150,000 auction..? 🤯 Wont bore you with the rest... But just know you're in good hands. And the score total was 10/22 which hits "Cool Kid Club" status. And it's easily the coolest community we're a part of, and the engagement (and probably retention) is there to prove it. So as they say... R&D... Rob and Duplicate. Watch the master... and mirror it. Let's keep fumble fucking forward with our micro communities 🤙

Community Growth Ideas Please!
What's up land Mojo... I've been working on my group, Raising Entrepreneurial Kids, ever since I left Travis in Little Rock. Here's the strategy/results so far: - Posting 2-3 times per week - Started doing interviews with other parents - Posting on my FB and old email list to direct people to the group - Talking & adding value in other groups - 65 members, no attempt at monetization I'm struggling with two things... growth and engagement. I thought that interviews would help increase the growth rate, as it taps into other people's audiences (while also being super valuable and interesting). Engagement proves hard too, even with encouragement... a lot of people just like to lurk. I've talked this through with @James Foster and @Adrian Hall - both had super helpful points. But I also want to tap into the brain trust here. Firstly, my two concern that may or may not be reality... 1. My group isn't focused on ROI, it's also not focused directly on the group member. Obviously, people care about their kids... but there's no fixed outcome I can really promise here. 2. Skool feels like a suboptimal platform for the growth & engagement side of things when compared to facebook. People log in to Facebook every day... not so much with Skool. But I do consider this a minor concern. Secondly, some further ideas I've had... 1. Instead of locking the interviews away in the Skool group - put them on YouTube and point people to the group. However, I could see the same issue here with getting the word out about the YouTube channel. 2. A 7-day "sell your stuff" challenge. I've polled the group on this, but I could see this being a $7 offer I run traffic to - to bring people into the group. So... Any ideas on the above... Or what I could do to boost growth & engagement? TY

I like thinking in terms of the hope slope cause its needed to get sales and then helpful to run the backend systems. So Mark Manson talks about Hope in his book "were all fucked" and it really comes down to 3 things they need to make a decision to join. 1. Hope in YOU as the answer - so sharing your story of helping teens become entrepreneurs. (stat + story, left brain and right brain) 2. Hope in PRODUCT - that this community is the answer they've been seeking. So this validates the above, narrow down what kind of kids, what age, and what PROBLEM is being solved... love @Chris Wright 's comment on family coming together and bonding and making money, a triple hitter and HIGH VALUE for mom and dad who will be the target here. 3. Hope in THEMSELVES - this is the hardest but show proof how easy it can be and use TIMER. Then on backend, you need to continually give HOPE. Hope is the oxygen to action. So show stories of other kids' making money. Even $60. It's lessons and its HOPE. So be specific with what problem is being solved for mom and dad. Find what they VALUE. Then take that value and turn it into rituals... What do we DO here because we value X. (even better if you can make them selfie-able moments) Then backend becomes a series of shared rituals. LOVE that you have monthly challenges to focus on. You could have 'lanes' inside your classroom of beginner, advanced, expert ways to focus entrepreneurial levels. I would make sure you have a good indoctrination to kick it all off to show WHO we are and WHERE we're going and HOW we'll get there to create a clear mental map... this is huge for engagement as well. Keep fumble fuckin forward tho. on to something cool!
And now, a little mind fuel...
Don’t out-better ’em. Out-different 'em cause being better is hard. being different is profitable.

Sally Hogshead spent millions to find "different is better than better" . Love that simplicity
Peeps are responding 😘
Yesterday I started to seed my community. One-to-one reach out as @Travis Sago suggested. This was 7 messages sent so far and 7 takers - most of them came back instantly with a yes - good sign. Next up: keep seeding and see how eager the peeps are to spread the word. Been fun so far ✌️ G PS. This is what I’m up to if anyone has any ideas or suggestions >> The Ordinary Sailors
