Got a campaign going in the Hair niche with a partner. We sent 600 emails and got zero replies. Zero replies! Killed it. Went back and did the ONE THING Travis preaches on darn near every call. Sent out another 100. 12 said yes. Anybody wanna guess what the ONE THING is?

I landed in Taiwan this morning. A few hours in and a lunch later, one thing is evident. People here are spending $$$, and Taiwan is doing WEEEELL. And a whole lot of that traces back to one company. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, or TSMC for short. Roughly 90% of the world's advanced chips come out of their fabs. Here's the part most folks don't know. In 1985 Morris Chang, the founder of TSMC, had an idea. He went to the biggest names in semiconductors and offered to build their chips for them, so they could stick to the designing. Intel said no. Texas Instruments said no. Motorola said no. So he took the only work anybody would hand him. The old chips. The dead products. The stuff Intel and TI were LOSING money on and were glad to get off their own line. Their scraps. That was February 1987. Last year that scrap business did $122 billion in sales. And Intel, Texas Instruments and Motorola? TSMC is worth more than the three of them combined. Twice over. Travis said something on our last Shogun call. School taught us to do things one way. Get all the data you can. Compare. Analyze. THEN pick the "right" one. Which is how we end up sitting on something for four (or forty) months. How do we roll differently in the Mojo world? We pick a path. Make our decision. THEN spend our time making it the right one. Chang didn't wait until the data looked good, or until the path looked clear. He picked the one path with a downside he could live through… and then spent 39 years making it the right one. It’s not about avoiding sh!t, it’s about figuring out how to turn sh!t into sugar. I picked a path on one of mine and spent the flight from Toronto to Taipei making it the right one. Anyone else ready to pick a path?
