Did I know right away after discovering @Travis Sago that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life? Yep. Do I stalk the group daily? YEP. Did I study everything since day 1? YEP. Did I attempt to find a partner the first year and a half of being here? Big fat NOPE! Why? I'm the king of mental masturbation. Just a little more studying. just a another day of trying to find the perfect way to do a deal. Just a few more days of trying to figure out how to reach out to someone. Planning feels good. In reality, 95% of the time it's just stalling any sort of progress. But hot damn it feels good getting that cheap hit of dopamine you get when you feel like you're being productive. Sound familiar? Ready to get your ass out of the driveway and make shit happen? Cool. Here's my recent cold outreach that landed me a fairly promising looking partner. Was it perfect? Probably not. But I think this same approach will work for damn near anyone: My first couple messages: What does everyone with paid programs want? clients. So when they sense an opportunity to upsell someone, of course they're going to reply. my fourth message: Im asking about an affiliate program. Im not even asking to partner. Obviously the plan is to move the conversation towards partnership. But he sees me as someone that wants to promote his shit. my fifth message: basically word for word from the travis playbook. You get the idea. In my opinion, this is the easiest plug and play framework to get convos rolling: 1. Say you have a question about their mentorship. Because who tf wouldnt reply to that 2. Ask about affiliate for said mentorship. They instantly see you as someone that wants to promote their shit. 3. At this point, I would assume, pretty much everyone will like you because they see you as someone that wants to help them. So it's easier to move the conversation to bouncing ideas around. As I said, my opinion. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. But hey it worked for me.
