What is Your Niche?
Wouldn't it be great to just have clarity on who your videos are for? and not have to sit around debating for 20 billion hours a week on what video to make next? Over the course of publishing 700+ videos I struggled with this immensely. So I'm going to make this simple for you. ❇️You are the niche.❇️ you can make videos about whatever you want the answer here is do whatever you can do sustainably so that you can do it long enough to figure out what you really want your channel to be about, based on audience reactions ❇️YOU WILL FIND YOUR NICHE FASTER IF YOU JUST START POSTING ABOUT WHAT YOUR INTERESTED IN. Action Creates Clarity So if you have a good idea, do it. Now what happens when you pick a niche and then you start getting the itch to make other types of content make a second channel. This is what really helped me. There are many things I would like to make a video about. But because I'm trying to build a high ticket offer, those videos wouldn't serve my ideal clients and they wouldn't work well on my channel. So i can just post those videos on another channel whenever i get the urge to make them This allows me to stay super niche on my main channel without burning out, because I have another creative outlet. So if you're just starting out, maybe don’t pick a niche. And just go exploring and see what you find You Can always niche down later when you have more data to go off of. I hope this helps. Comment what your niche is and how you found it.

This is very interesting. I personally tried to niche down as that is what you often hear. But I also know I’m limiting my videos to reach a wider audience. For example I started my channel as a way to share about something I care deeply about: supporting moms through the ups and downs of motherhood — things like emotional wellness, self-growth, and remembering who you are outside of just being “mom.” I’ve posted consistently and gotten some subscribers, but the views are still low. Part of me is starting to wonder: maybe my focus is too narrow? Maybe I should widen the conversation to include women (or everyone) in general, not just moms? I can talk about self growth, emotional wellness and self development for hours. At the same time, I know motherhood is such a unique experience, and I feel like it deserves its own space. I’m torn between wanting to reach more people and staying true to the original idea behind why I started.
Are you living alone, are you married and do you have kids?
That is what I get asked again and again, in the comments to my videos, mainly from audience using no name and no picture (!). Maybe this is old fashioned, but I like to see the people that want to know that. What‘s your experience on the topic and do you share personal details like this, even if they are not content relevant?

ive gotten those too! At first I ignored and deleted the comments. But there were a couple of users who Ive had to hide, because they were just plain old creeps (or trolls). Honestly, what is up with people!
Need help finding an easy website for my YouTube channel and freebies
Hey everyone! I’m in the process of creating a website to include in my YouTube profile, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there and could really use some guidance. Here’s what I’m hoping my site can do: - Email signup: I want to collect emails for subscriptions and future updates. - Shop page: I’d like to offer freebies for now, with the option to add paid digital products later (like printables). - Blog posts: to accompany some of my long-form videos I’ve used WordPress in the past, but honestly found it really steep and complicated. I’m looking for something that’s user-friendly, affordable, and not overly technical, but still allows me to grow over time. Has anyone built a similar site and can recommend a platform that fits these needs? I’d love to hear your experiences, what worked well, and what challenges to watch out for. TIA!

@Des Dreckett thanks Des! I’ll take a look at Wix, I definitely don’t want to add too much to my workflow so need something super simple

@Ethan Grove I definitely will! Thanks so much for the feedback. With so many options, it’s easy to get overwhelmed when reading and comparing all the features. Its so helpful to hear from people that actually tried the platforms. Thx again for your feedback!

In this video i explain why people can’t sleep (really it´s true) and also includes a powerful sleep meditation. I tested it myself — it works! I’m sure 99% of people will get so relaxed they’ll fall asleep." TON OF THANKS! You can help me so much!

Hi Rudi! Have you thought about using a split-screen for the thumbnail? On one side, you could show a wide-eyed face in bed, clearly sleepless, with the word ‘Sleepless’ above it. On the other side, you could use the image you already have of the sleeping woman, with ‘Solution!’ as the title above. It could immediately show the problem and the fix in one glance!
Podcast networking?
In terms of my channel I have only posted one video, however I am planning on being consistent and making more. I'm trying to do a daily video myself just to make it and get reps, and not posting it just yet. I do have a question. I think the format that I would most enjoy and be best at is podcasting. It feels really good doing so. How can I find/reach out to others who are likeminded and would like to join me for one episode? I imagine I would have to build a bigger brand, or is it achievable right now? My interests are health and wellness, psychology, philosophy, herbalism, human design I did do a podcast with a friend of mine who works at a local herb shop. I really enjoyed it and thought it went well.

I’m part of this group on Facebook, as I previously dabbled in podcasting! Awesome group, full of amazing creatives looking for collaborations. Lots in the wellness/psych/human design niche

Also great idea on posting daily at first. I’m doing that as well (new channel). I am doing a 14 day challenge to just get some content out there but also to keep myself accountable. One thing I’ll say is that try to batch your videos in one session. It really helps, in case something comes up and you’re not able to film one day. I’ve got 3 kids so sometimes it’s a juggling act, so I try to do at least 2 videos, one for safety :) I have two vids to film tonight, hopefully when they are asleep 🤞🏻
