Opposite Day! Draft A Train Wreck FIRST
You can make things awesome simply by knowing what sucks. Seriously — draft a train wreck on purpose. If you know what awful looks like, you can make it awesome. I got reminded of this while I was packaging for YouTube. I couldn’t tell you the perfect next step… but I could tell you what I don’t want. I had an avatar I could look in the eyes and go: ā€œnot that.ā€ So to prove it, I had AI write the most stereotypical LinkedIn pitch possible… then I told it to reverse every decision. The bizzaro-world version immediately sounded more like me. Steal this: - write your DON’TS - paste your DM / offer / hook - tell AI to invert it Drop ONE outreach line you hate seeing below. I’m gonna build an ā€œopposite templateā€ from the best answers.

@Arvind Mankani yeah, it does. but that's a loaded answer - it used to be crickets, until I started posting frequently. and not just rando posts, but things that were in line with what I offer. once there was some alignment there the leads started coming in really consistently.

šŸ†How I got my first win — and the blueprint you can steal
The first month I could cover my bills with online money came after a moment of total defeat. I’d been spinning my tires for months, landing a few piecemeal clients on upwork - my outreach efforts were totally wasted. I'd signed exactly ZERO people through cold email, and couldn't close anyone in "my niche" to save my life. Money still going out, nothing coming in ... completely stalled, feeling defeated. I needed to change or quit — so I came up with a plan. I stopped trying to convince strangers. I took a step back, a deep breath, and I came up with a solution to a problem that I PERSONALLY would pay to have solved, and selling it to people who already trusted that I get it. Context! I was deep in the remote music producer world and T H E problem we all had was consistent clients, not just word-of-mouth. So I solved that problem! I took my new AI skills and scraped Bandcamp / IG / X and built lead lists of bands giving ready-to-work signals: - posting about writing - teasing a new song - ā€œheaded to the studioā€ - hiring / looking for help / asking for recs Then I sold those lists to producers I already knew in Discord communities… because it was literally the only thing we all talked about. That month I sold 11 lists at $500 USD each. It saved people a full day (or more) of deep research, and it fit the budget/value. TL;DR (at the end haha) - start with a problem you actually understand - sell to people who already live in that problem - package one pain into one deliverable - build the snowball, and don’t compare your level 1 to someone’s level 9 If you’re stuck, don’t start with ā€œan offer.ā€ Start with a pain you understand. šŸ¤”What’s ONE problem you’d pay someone else to solve for you right now? In my case, it was: ā€œFind bands that are ready to work.ā€ What’s your version of that? Drop it below. I’ll reply with 2–3 ways you could package that!

@Ronnie Ron got it! Kind of a lot to catch up on - what do you think you want to do? My advice is pick one thing and stick with it for a bit

Did a loom to walk it through - @Faheem Fida - how does he know he's losing $113k? - are you available for support? - offer 1 solution to his problem, and do it based on time The hybrid here could be like 6 month support term then a handoff to the internal team? I feel like this is much more complicated than it needs to be. Good luck my friend! Let me know what happens here okay?
MY DOG's BREATH SMELLS LIKE DOG FOOD.
Okay, Ralph Wiggum - a plugin for claude code is an iteration loop that keeps the agent from quitting a task until it's "DONE"... Read about this: https://awesomeclaude.ai/ralph-wiggum kinda fuckin' love it. not free reign or proceed "dangerously" - keep answering my annoying questions until the mission is accomplished or we all die trying haha. You see a use for this in your day-day?

@Hicham Char right! You want it to do the thing, but you don't want to run as admin or have it proceed without checks... +1 hah
The Positioning Shift That 5x'd Conversion
Same product. Same price. 5x more conversions. Before: "An automation tool for businesses" After: "Save 15 hours/week on lead qualification. Built for B2B sales teams." The formula: 1. WHO is this for? (Specific audience) 2. WHAT do they get? (Specific outcome) 3. HOW is this different? (Specific angle) Conversion: 0.8% → 6.2% Same traffic. Same product. Better words. How would you describe your product in one sentence?

@Mohamed M first impressions can only happen once. If you deliver something tangible when cash changes hands, and then again within like 24-48 hours you've bought yourself continued business, even before the work gets done. Learned this the hard way hah
