First of all...great job! You did it. You did the thing. And congratulations on the book. That was work in itself and surely an accomplishment. Now here come the iterations for improvement. Video is such a powerful medium, but can work for you...or not at all. Here is my take... I definitely use some storytelling. I don't mean tell the story, I mean the structure. Start with the pain. Any woman who would read your book or learn from you, what are they thinking, feeling, or dealing with? Start there. "If you have ever thought....said... experienced...felt..." Tell them that you "see" them. Then show them you are on their level...."Before I wrote this book...or...before I found myself again...this is where I was...what I did...who I was...etc." Continue with ..."I tried this..I thought that...people tried to help this way or that way...but what really helped was when I did this...thought that...or found this..." Here is where it gets fun.. then tell them things that only they can relate to ... "You've probably tried this...or that...or heard to try this ...or that..." Show that you have actually been there by bringing things up that only they can relate to. Then tell them what you did, or what you found and how you want to share it. and why you wrote it...who you wrote it for...and what you hope they will get out of it. Hope this helps.

This is something that is taught here in Skool as well. You can't perfect something that you have not first tested. The faster you test, the sooner you get results to improve the value. Sometimes that means getting some "founding" members/learners in the course for free. Then tier it up as you go.

@Danielle Price Polished doesn't work anymore. Imagine when a friend or family, or friend of the family asks you to help them with something and they are willing to pay. How does that transaction go? How does the conversation sound? Its casual, but still clear. In the business of information and knowledge transfer, we earn the trust of people by first delivering value. Then when value is exchanged for money....they are asking for help. Not because they can't do it, but because they want to shorten the learning curve. So, in like the conversation is casual, just another person asking for help and willing to exchange value for money. This is more personal, more real, more authentic.
