102 Sit-to-Stand Challenge | Happy May Day
You asked for it. Today we take on 102 sit-to-stands, because we want to live strong and capable all the way to 102. If we can get in and out of a chair with ease at that age, life is going pretty well. Challenge yourself today. Push your limits. You’ve got this. Let’s start the month strong and make it the best one yet.

102 sit-to-stands done with some calf raises thrown in for extra spice. Years of pliés and relevés made this fairly easy. (My great grandfather actually lived to be 102, and my dad is turning 90 soon and still the regular minister at a couple of parishes.)
Slight Sweat Today
Let’s pick up the pace and get a light sweat going. A short, quick session to boost mood, energy, and get the body working. A little sweat can go a long way. Move with purpose and enjoy it.

Another energizing session. This is where the fountain of youth really resides.
@Denny Fairchild I adore George Carlin.
Full Body Gentle Movement
Nothing fancy today. Just simple, full-body movement. We’re not reinventing anything, just showing up, moving dynamically, and caring for these bodies so we can get the most out of them. Be well. Move well.

@Drew Hopper Thank you. So are you. This is a lovely community.
Strength, Mobility, and Cardio 💪
Move with pace, intention, and focus as we build strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness. Keep showing up for your body so you can age with vitality and strength.

Session completed. I recommend Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning to everyone. It's truly a life-changing read.
Gentle Movements to Start the Week
Today we begin with a 10-minute Qigong practice. Connect your breath to each movement. Stay present. Move and flow with strength and steadiness in both body and mind. Set a simple intention: this week will be incredible, no matter what happens around you.

Thank you. Qigong is my favorite. I focused on a spot on the horizon inside my eyelids for Bamboo in the Wind.
