A reflection about reality part 4
Hello everyone 😆. Yesterday I wrote a post about reality and our minds, and I mentioned the Silva method, more on that in this post. Firstly if you've never seen my posts before, I want you to know that my name is Joshua, I'm a 22 years old Cuban boy who's on his journey through life and self discovery. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, it means a lot ❤️. Now, back to the point, the Silva method was designed by Jose Silva, a mexican man who lived in United States, and it is, basically, guided meditation with purpose. You see, when we meditate, almost everything we want to do is reaching illumination, but what does that means?? Illumination is not only being in peace with yourself and aware of the present moment and your surroundings. As I see it, illumination is also being connected with yourself and with the higher realms in the tree of life. Is letting go the illusion of self, to embrace the truth of the everything. You may ask, what is that? I know I've mentioned the concept before, is the observer, the presence inside every conscious mind. There are a lot of philosophies that mention this one way or the other. The Christians talk about the body being the sacred temple of god, the taoists talk about the flow of energy that is omnipresent, the atman talks about all the minds being connected as well. In the Silva method, he mentions the two concepts, the flow of energy and the power of mind, and there is more, the Kabbalah. So, the Silva method stands that if we are going to meditate, we should also use that connected state of mind, called Alfa, to project our desires or changes that we want in our life, as if they were the actual reality, and really believe in them. That is giving purpose to meditation, and meditation can heal. In the Silva method are several techniques included to heal ourselves and also to heal other people, at any corner of the world, if your mind is strong enough. You can also project yourself, inside objects, inside living beings, inside human beings even, and through the help of advisers and deep meditation, heal, and change. I deeply recommend you all to read his book, called The Silva Method of Mind Control.

@Joshua Rei so it’s interesting that you mention that. This isn’t based on any research, or any book, just kind of my own experience. When I do active meditation, I visualize, or in my case, feel, energy moving from the Earth up my spine through each of my chakras and I spend time focusing on each of the chakras, fencing them with one hand while the other is in a receiving position.This is actually based very loosely on a practice called Sahaja yoga (not sure I spelled that correctly). But during this practice, I always visualize my energy shooting by directionally - shooting into the Earth, like the root systems of the tree of life, and then expanding out of my crown chakra like the branches of the tree, and then sometimes you’ll see the tree of life visualize as a circle, which sort of connects the above and below, and that is also how the visualization sort of eventually ends up. Get a little stuck on this because my analytical brain if it gets in the way wants to try and make it make sense and so it wants to try and say that you know energy should be coming from above our energy should be coming from below, but if I can keep the analytical mind away, I find it to be a pretty powerful meditation technique for raising clearing and tuning my chakras
End of Week Check-In
Ayee fam 🌍 The real work isn’t just “doing more.” It’s becoming more honest. Honest about what’s working, what’s not, what we’re avoiding, what we’re ready for. That’s why we do these weekly reflections—so your growth stays 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, not automatic. So—end of week. What’s present? 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 + 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 (𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁): • What was the best thing that happened this week? • What challenged you the most? • What’s one win you’re proud of? 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘁: • What did you fall back into that you don’t want to normalize? • What lesson did you learn (tough or beautiful)? • What truth are you ready to say out loud? We’re here. We got you. Blessings 🤍

@Tristan Harris also - once he gets his scent around your house he should start to calm down. But cats don’t like closed doors - especially male cats. They like to monitor their perimeter

End of week 3/16-3/20 - Best thing - I finally posted a reel publicly have been sitting on that shares a part of me I have historically only shared with a curated community of people. I have felt called to share my authentic self in all places and spaces. • most challenging- shedding this last piece of the mask and recognizing that what I want to teach my daughter is how to embody her light and not dim it - and that the only way to do that is to lead by example. • One thing I’m proud of - that I finally decided it was more important to be all of me than just some of me so I can truly embrace the mission I have.

@Dawson Hayley you got this
A truth you were born with
What is something you just knew to be true from as early as you can remember without reference, and then science or the world proved to be true in your lifetime? I’ll start. I always knew that whale calls were actually a language. I considered becoming a marine biologist so I could study whale calls to research this exact thing. And now they have discovered that it is, essentially, a language.
