How did your practice go today? - What went well? - What was difficult? If you haven't practiced yet, when are you going to meditate later today? What kind of technique are you going to use? How might this impact your life? Share below by just dropping a GIF for an intention, or you can do a short check-in. Also, if you have any questions about your practice today, feel free to drop it in the comment box

gif representing what was going on outside my office during my meditation. An angry colombian woman trying to clean, while a three year old yelled at Alexa 8 times to play songs from toy story. The moat between my awareness and outside stimuli helped me feel grounded.
Thursday group meditation check-in, April 9th, 2026.
Hi friends. Here's today's group meditation check-in. How was your practice today, or how is it going to go? In our Level 3 class today, we went over non-dual meditation, recognizing awareness of awareness. We had a great group. Curious what meditation practice are you practicing today? Is it breath work? Is it affirmations? Is it visualization? What's alive for you? Welcome to share a gif or share a couple sentences, and also, if you ever have any questions on meditation, you're welcome to share that here too. Have a lovely day, Brandon

Monks visiting!
We have three monks visiting us in Austin over the next month! This is an unprecedented frequency afaik You can find the times and venue here: https://www.vedantaaustin.org/ Swami Tyagananda - April 17-19 Swami Sarvadevananda - April 26-28 Swami Mahayogananda - May 8-9 They’re from the Ramakrishna order of monks and nuns. They all have a very strong spiritual presence and most of them have a strong nondual flavor. After every visit, I find myself in great joy for the next few days and my practice deepens noticeably.

Nondual Meditation: Resting Like an Ocean Viewing It's Own Waves
Hi friends, Today we explored Nondual Meditation through a progression of practices rooted in the Chan (Chinese Zen) lineage. We began by settling the mind, then turned our attention inward to search for the self. From there, we expanded our awareness outward — feeling the room as an extension of the body. We then dropped into a vast, open awareness: ocean beneath us, sky above us. We rested in the changeless nature of that awareness. Finally, we opened to include everything — sensations, the self, emotions, and perceptions — as unique expressions of this totality. If you'd like to share your experience, ask a question, or drop a GIF of how the session landed for you, we'd love to hear it. 🙏 See you tomorrow for Free For All Friday! With love, Brandon

created this image in chatgpt real quick to roughly illustrate what I experienced towards the second half of the session. I felt extremely "airy", suspended, and felt expansive with this steady visual static and very vivid. no words to describe it. just objectively describing the experience as best I can. Don't feel any particular form of emotion or any specific which way about it. Interesting and curious...
