Sabian Symbols
Have you ever heard of Sabian Symbols? What are they I hear you say... Sabian Symbols are images or metaphors, clairvoyantly derived by Elsie Wheeler in 1925, which were interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones to trigger his understanding of each one of the 360 degrees of the zodiac separately, and also by Dane Rudhyar to create a schematic that outlines the journey towards self-realisation. Each of the 360 symbols and explanations can be seen as a life mystery. Each of us will have our own personal take on it, and this can be as valid as any attempt the author makes to give objective meaning. It all depends on how capable you are at opening the subtle, intuitive aspect of mind to unveil the mystery. You can visit a couple of websites that specialise in it but they're absolutely fascinating. Here's a few links to the sites that have calculators and also where you put your own birthday in to see your complete sabian chart. Before visiting note the 'degree' of your Sun sign and that will tell you what to select. https://sabian.org/sabian_symbols.php https://www.jamesburgess.com/sabian-symbols.html https://sabiansymbols.com/ Click here to see the daily symbol: https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/sabian-symbols-calculator-calendar Click here to see your natal chart mandala of symbols: https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/sabian-symbols-chart-horoscope

Clarity of Mind - Crystal Quartz Athame
One of the beauties being a travelling gypsy every weekend is that I meet other makers, artists, readers and magical folk. I was very excited to attend a recent event as it was going to have a stall that sold hand made athames. I was hoping to acquire one depending on what was there. I approached the stall holder who said that they didn't have the ones they posted on social media so I was left feeling a bit disappointed. I continued to say hello to some friends and catch up with a crystal lady that I was going to see if her stall had clear crystal quartz that I was drawn to in her collection. And there it was. It said, here I am. The root of air, the amplifier to draw down the messages I am open to receive. Making the truth crystal clear. She will sit on my table and point me the right direction. I just had to share her with you!

Looks great Renee. Athame is represented by the Air Element. A two-edged knife, usually black-handled. Some witches use their athame only in circle to direct energy and never use it to cut anything. Male symbol. When you acquire a tool, you need to cleanse it. You can say: I cleanse this tool of all negativity, and visualise it filling with white light. Then you have to consecrate and charge the tool with your energy, dedicating it to your Deity, the element it is associated with and the purpose for which it is intended. You can make this an elaborate or as simple a ritual as you like. The more effort and nurturing given to sacred tools the more energy and power you can create.
Number 13
In Hebrew, the number 13 is highly significant, representing unity and love (Gematria of Echad = 1 and Ahavah = Love). It is a positive number symbolizing the 13 Attributes of Mercy, the age of Bar Mitzvah, and the 13 principles of faith. It is written as י״ג (Yod + Gimel), meaning 10 + 3. - Numerical/Gematria Significance: The Hebrew word for one, Echad (אחד), equals 13 (Aleph=1, Chet=8, Dalet=4). Additionally, the word for love, Ahavah (אהבה), equals 13 (Aleph=1, Heh=5, Bet=2, Heh=5). - Spirituality & Ritual: 13 represents the thirteen attributes of mercy, Maimonides' 13 Principles of Faith, and the age a boy becomes a Bar Mitzvah. - Biblical References: 13 is linked to the 13th year of circumcision for Ishmael, the 13 times the walls of Jericho were marched around, and the 13th month sometimes added to the Jewish calendar. - Writing 13 in Hebrew: As "teen" numbers do not exist in Hebrew, 13 is written as a combination of 10 and 3, using the letters Yod (י) and Gimel (ג), which is י״ג.

The 13 is not as unlucky as most people believe. It is the self [1] using its creative talants [3] to put ideas into form [4]. The 13 gained a reputation for being unlucky from the fact that Jesus and his disciples numbered 13 and one of his disciples betrayed his. Witches were believed to met in goups of 13 to get orders from their master. The hangman in England was paid 13 pence for each hanging and always took place on a Friday. The 13th card in the tarot is the Death card. From the book The Secret Science of Numerology. By Shirley Blackwell Lawrence

7 of Swords - Moon in Aquarius / deception or planning a secret exit from a collective. Feb 10th to 18th Feb. This marks the last decan of Aquarius season. Traditionally, this person who's looking over his shoulder is said to have been a traitor or deceptive. Someone is trying get away with something they shouldn't. This has been a common go-to meaning. However, if we look at the decan of Moon in Aquarius, let's break that down simply. When we think of the Moon, we think of shadow or the hidden. It can also indicate illumination - being something is about to be exposed. So that's the first half. The other component is Aquarius - its meaning is humanitarianism, collectives, groups, and perhaps global villages or efforts to uphold a certain position to represent those things. So where is this person going? What are they taking with them? Referring to the swords, it could be information, documents, a conversation about a situation or just knowledge that others are not privy to. So in readings these days, most of the time I see this card, it's someone who is planning an exit of some description. They're leaving a job, a group and relationship or even just a community they no longer feel part of. But with that, they also take some intel. Information that could be useful. The perfect analogy could be someone planning to resign from a company and take that knowledge to another place. They've carefully planned when the date to resign will be, but they haven't told anyone about their plans. How do you see this energy playing out for you right now? Drop a comment and share your thoughts!
