Sabian Symbols
Have you ever heard of Sabian Symbols? What are they I hear you say...
Sabian Symbols are images or metaphors, clairvoyantly derived by Elsie Wheeler in 1925, which were interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones to trigger his understanding of each one of the 360 degrees of the zodiac separately, and also by Dane Rudhyar to create a schematic that outlines the journey towards self-realisation. Each of the 360 symbols and explanations can be seen as a life mystery. Each of us will have our own personal take on it, and this can be as valid as any attempt the author makes to give objective meaning. It all depends on how capable you are at opening the subtle, intuitive aspect of mind to unveil the mystery.
