One of the beauties being a travelling gypsy every weekend is that I meet other makers, artists, readers and magical folk. I was very excited to attend a recent event as it was going to have a stall that sold hand made athames. I was hoping to acquire one depending on what was there. I approached the stall holder who said that they didn't have the ones they posted on social media so I was left feeling a bit disappointed. I continued to say hello to some friends and catch up with a crystal lady that I was going to see if her stall had clear crystal quartz that I was drawn to in her collection. And there it was. The first crystal I ever bought was a Moldavite. It catalyzed my awakening and the tarot found me shortly after. One of the things I want to talk about in tomorrow's New Moon gathering (add this to your calendar - a link is there for all members), is the power of crystal quartz. It is the crystal for zodiac sign Aquarius as the go to 'alchemical' stone. Come along to find out more and don't forget to have your crystals with you at the ceremony to charge! I took a couple of photos and purchased a 'quartz geode' myself from the high atlas mountains of Morocco. It is a rock formation that reminds me of 2 little mini caves when opened.
