Just some thoughts on planetary alignment and energies. We have 2 teams in the sky, the benefics and the malefics. Beneific planets are Venus and Jupiter. Both are experienced in a positive way primarily. Then we have Mars and Saturn which are referred to as malefic. Mars is the planet of 'I want', action, war and conflict. Saturn in mostly a disciplinary and traditional ruler of time. So when you think of zodiac signs that are ruled by these planets you will often find that they have dominant traits in this energy. Below I have listed the 'sun' signs and their ruling planets. Of course it's not a hard and fast rule, however those who are more flexible can be easier to communicate with and those who are strong willed, more dominating. We have the Sun (masculine) and the Moon (feminine) then the dude in the middle Mercury (neutral) who can pivot in an instant and can behave like the chameleon - depending on how he needs to accomodate or mirror.
