One of my full moon rituals includes a bathtub full of essential oils, herbs, special salts and intentions!!! STRONGLY RECOMMEND!! Candles - yes!!! Lots of them and also bubbles! It’s a mermaid thing… 🧜‍♀️ Intentions may include what you are letting goal gracefully, what you are calling in with open heart & arms and gratitude!!!! All this helps me w my joy zone that is consistent of playing and making music mostly…. It’s a very VERY powerful place to work from!!! Letting go of playing small. No need to shy away from the inevitable! Calling in more alignment in terms of growth & contribution for all of us!!!! I have plenty thanks to all of you here beautiful souls!!!!!! I will start. I was in 2 accidents that made me cancel European tour and Burning Man cuz I had to go to therapy 5 days a week. So I came to Skool and created this community. It was originally a piano only community. It felt restricting but for me it was the lowest hanging fruit since I grew up as a concert pianist and been teaching piano for decades w great success to students around the globe, getting all kinds of awards… I knew there will be a learning curve of how to create a community, make it lit and lead it with intention… that’s why I picked “the lowest hanging fruit” - piano… I wanted to help a sh1t ton of people while I am learning this community thing. The accidents were blessing in disguise!!!! The Universe had a plan for me!!!! The Universe always has our backs and our higher purpose in mind! The Universe conspires w us!!!! I am grateful I found Skool! I am grateful for this community! I am grateful for all of you and all the rest of the amazing beautiful souls that are my friends on here that we never met in person but I feel you closer than anyone outside of this space!!!!!!!!!!! Hi Tribers! I am sure you have experienced this - whether in school or in life or with a romantic relationship (dating the same person in different body? Sounds familiar?? lol) or playing a musical instrument… Lessons return (or repeat) if we have not learned them the 1st, 2nd or heck even 300th time… I thought I have learned my lesson of not making assumptions. And logically my thought process was like - I have worked many years on myself to not judge book by its cover - to not judge others - as when we first meet someone - we don’t know their circumstances, upbringing and internal battles. So for me - not being judgmental ALSO meant not make any assumptions. Logical… right? WRONG!!!! And this morning I learned this. Hers is what happened. Our Triber @Dinka Salvador had reached out to me several weeks ago, inviting me to speak in a summit. I thanked her for thinking of me and said yes. The summit is in January so I have left going over any details that are needed for the next couple of days… I found out today that the speakers’ spots were filled within 3 days (a few weeks ago) and I needed to register myself. Duh 🙄 Either my blondness or my business didn’t allow me to see it this way. Most likely is a combo of both. What I know now is: 1. I ASSUMED that just because I am integral and do as I say, people automatically know it. Wrong!!! Lots of people say all kind of stuffs all the time… and don’t follow through 2. I ASSUMED that me saying yes to Dinka it’s a done deal and I am scheduled. Wrong! Dinka, as she shared w me earlier, would never do such a thing out of respect!! So you see how this is a lesson that I needed to learn? Don’t assume anything!! To be honest I was not even aware I was assuming! I will be more mindful in the future and ask myself often - “am I assuming things here?” What’s your take and experience on assuming?
