Are you passionate about helping women in midlife thrive, grow, and create a life they're excited about? I'm hosting You Don't Need a New You: The Midlife Recalibration Summit, a free 5-day online event happening January 11–15, 2027, and I'm looking for inspiring speakers to join me! We're bringing together a diverse group of experts to explore everything from nervous system resilience, mindset, menopause, health and relationships to confidence, money, purpose, personal growth, and what's possible in the second half of life. If you have expertise, a fresh perspective, or practical strategies that could help midlife women, I'd love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to share your work, reach a new audience, build connections, and be part of a meaningful conversation about midlife. Presentations are 20–30 minutes and prerecorded, with additional live opportunities available. Sound like something you'd love to be part of? Most protein calculators weren't built for women over 40
Many calculators set protein at the basic minimum, 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight. Same number for a 45-year-old woman as for someone in her 20s. But after 40, we lose muscle faster, and research points to at least 1.2 grams, more if you're strength training. Most calculators don't account for plant-based eating or fiber either. So I built one that does. Tomorrow in my free live class, I'll walk you through it, and you'll leave with your own calories, protein and fiber in about two minutes. Wednesday, Oct 7 at 1 PM ET on Zoom. Save your spot: https://go.nourishedbynadia.com/metabolism-class

⏸️ Why Pausing Is So Hard in Midlife
Pausing. Something so simple… and yet sometimes so hard to do. Especially in midlife. Because we’re carrying SO much. The visible stuff: work, kids, family, appointments, meals, laundry, schedules, responsibilities… And then there’s everything nobody sees. The mental load. The emotions. The decisions. The changes happening in our bodies. The constant feeling that there’s always something else that needs our attention. Think about this… It’s 6:30pm. You’ve finally gotten through the workday, picked up the kids, figured out dinner, cleaned up the kitchen, answered three texts you’ve been ignoring all day… And then your husband asks, “What’s the plan for tomorrow?” And inside you’re like… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I DON’T KNOW. 😩 But instead of pausing for a second and checking in with yourself, you snap. Then later you feel guilty for snapping. And now you’re exhausted and beating yourself up. This is where the pause can change things. Not a 30-minute meditation. Not another wellness routine to add to your already-full plate. Just a moment. A breath. A tiny bit of space between what’s happening around you and how you respond to it. Because sometimes we don’t need to do more. We need to give ourselves permission to stop for a minute. That’s why I started hosting a monthly Pause & Glow Call inside 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘄. ✨ We had our very first one today, and it’s intentionally simple: 10 minutes. We skip the small talk and go straight into a guided pause to breathe, soften, and come back to yourself. Because 10 minutes might not change everything… But it might change how you meet the next thing. 💗 The replay is now inside the community if you’d like to experience it for yourself. 💗 You can access it with a FREE 7-Day Glow Pass, on me. Come take 10 minutes. You’ve been carrying enough. Gaby
⏸️ Why Pausing Is So Hard in Midlife
The Self-Love Practice That Holds
The Self-Love Practice That Holds is officially open. You try a journal. It works for a week, then a hard day hits and it ends up in a drawer. You download a habit tracker, and the first missed day makes the whole thing feel pointless. You've tried so many things, and the problem was never that you didn't care enough. The problem was that every single one of those tools assumed you'd have the same energy every day. If you're navigating chronic illness, neurodivergence, or anxiety and depression, you already know that's just not true. So I built something different. It's called the Low Tide Method, and it's the foundation of this whole course: three real versions of your practice, High Tide, Ebbing Tide, and Low Tide, so no matter what kind of day you're having, you already know exactly what to do. No guessing. No guilt when you miss a day. Just a practice that actually bends with your real life. Inside, you'll get: - 7 modules, each with its own workbook and video - The 100 Self-Care Practices guide, sorted by energy level - Two monthly live group Zoom calls - A private 1:1 session with me The founding price for the first 7 people is $347. After that, it moves to $497. This isn't about becoming someone more disciplined or more consistent. It's about finally having a practice built for the body and mind you actually have. Come as you are. I'd love to have you in this with me. 🌙 https://www.sacredfoxstudio.org/the-self-love-practice-that-holds

I love this name Low Tide Method. Rooting for you, sounds like a great offer and a safe place.
✨ What if it’s not a motivation problem?
It’s 6:12 a.m. You wake up exhausted 🥱 before your feet even hit the floor. You push through the morning, rely on coffee to keep going, and by mid-afternoon your energy disappears. 🪫 By bedtime, you’re completely drained… yet your mind won’t switch off. If you’ve been thinking, “I just need more motivation,” I want you to know something: It might not be motivation. It might be your energy. And if you’re a woman in midlife, it might be tied to peri/menopause. If that’s you drop a 🖐️ in the comments & Vote below ⬇️ On a scale of 1-10 ( 1 being depleted and 10 being fully charged) What number is your energy at on most days?
