Superpowers?
What's your superpower in the studio? One thing you would say I got this!!! Now, I know as creatives we are multi-talented and have many of these superpowers, but pick one that you belive defines you. My superpower is composing Weird - Unique Synths !!!

Unique synths are always appreciated and are definitely a superpower! I am not a composer per se, but I played and wrote for a lot of bands, so I worked with arrangements a good bit and did production and audio engineering. I would say my favorite areas and areas of most talent will always be drum arrangements and vocal mixing. But my favorite useless superpower is my ability to use sound clips in weird ways to make them sound like a piece of the instrumentals. Two of my favorite weird clips I have used are a hog snorting and a cat sneezing. It's like a fun game of can my friends tell where the weird sound clip is 🤣
How are you preparing for 26?
Good morning PTN family! I hope everyone is doing well and your Friday is off to a great start! With the holidays around the corner, it’s a time to connect with friends and family, relax, reset, and take a much needed break. But as you all know, soon as the holidays are over everything starts all over again and it gets busy, fast! Sometimes I feel if I don’t prepare a game plan for the next year I feel behind immediately. My advice and whats been successful for me, is to have things ready to go before the new year. Wether that’s emails to network, finishing up an album to pitch, or just tiding up my workspace, that way I can get straight to it and be in the right mindset right away. What are y’all doing to prepare for a successful 2026? Share some pointers, tips, and tricks! Love to know what y’all do! TLDR: Don’t get overwhelmed, get prepared. Whats are you doing to be successful in 26?

My beginning of the year planning started in August this year since two of the bands I work with have planned LP/EP releases in January - February. One thing I do through November and December is write out all my personal goals, all the goals I have for each job I do, and goal for the bands/artists that I work with. I meetings with all the artists, usually in October so I can make sure to get to them before the new year and see what their year looks like in their minds so I can write a plan to exact it within reason for both the artists I manage and the ones I book for. And then I cry once that is done, because the hard part is over till about January 5th when everything starts really moving again 🤣

@Nate Michalic I swear by it lmfao I wouldn't be half as set if I had artists who did summer releases, so it's all thanks to them! 🤣 Thank you! I hope your year is successful and full of new, but good experiences!
Can I get links for everyone?
Hey everyone! It was great to hear everyone's tracks and hear about y'all's processes and styles! I can't wait to hear even more! That being said, can I get links for everyone's social media, and where I can stream more work from? I would love to follow everyone's endeavors and stories! I hope y'all have an amazing rest of the week!

PTN's FIRST LIVE LISTENING SESSION - NEXT WEDNESDAY, Dec 10 @ 7 PM - (CENTRAL TIMEZONE)
We are opening submissions for our upcoming PTN Live Listening Session, and we pushed it one week to give everyone time to get through the holidays, get back into their flow, and breathe a little before we meet. This session is focused on music for visual media, so please read this before you send anything in. (Submission Info Below) We are looking to listen to cues/tracks that feel purpose-driven, structured, and built with a visual/picture in mind. Think arcs, scenes, Ads, trailers, moments, and pacing. Music that could live under a story. Your cue does not need to be perfect; it just needs intention. If it feels “almost ready” or you want clarity on whether it truly lands for film, TV, trailers, or branded media, this room is for you. Before you submit, ask yourself: • Does this cue move, or can it work in visual media/support Visuals? • Does it have a good structure, or is this something I need help with? • Can you hear it under a scene? • Does it have a Sting? What is a Sting? • Is the mix in a place where someone could judge the idea, or is it even "ready"? If ANY of this FITS, or you can use this help... send it. SUBMIT Via Email HERE - 👉🏼 listenlive@paintthenoise.com-- CUTOFF at 7 pm on TUESDAY - (12/09 ) We will go through the submissions and feature as many cues as we can within the session window. Wednesday night, 12/10, we listen. Bring your best.

🎙️ WELCOME TO PTN PULSE
You didn’t just join a group. You stepped into a system. One that’s built by results, not recycled advice. The Frontline of a Bigger System First off, this is not just a Skool group. You’re entering the first level of a living, working ecosystem built from the inside out—by a composer who has delivered on Super Bowl spots, Marvel properties, global campaigns, and thousands of real-world placements. This space isn’t theory. It’s not built on recycled advice. THIS is built on 18+ years of scars, strategy, and sustained results. PTN is not just a production company. It’s a broadcast. A movement. A system. 🔴 Why This Exists: The industry was never built for people like us. It rewards connections over craft, surface over substance. Most platforms ask you to pay to submit. PTN asks you to show up, build your skill, and earn your way in. 🔴 PTN was built to flip the model: - From passive submissions → to intentional opportunity - From scattered advice → to direct-to-industry action - From clout-chasing “sync culture” → to career-building momentum in visual media music 🧠 What PTN Pulse Is PTN Pulse is the open floor of the PTN ecosystem. It’s the training ground, the check-in, the heartbeat of a movement made for those who want more than just credits—they want mastery. 🔴 Inside Pulse, you’ll get: - Weekly insight drops (real perspective from real experience) - Creator check-ins and rhythm building - First looks at PTN tools, content, and systems - A chance to get seen, not for clout, but for consistency There are no handouts here... NO shortcuts. Just presence, participation, and proof of work. 🔁 What Comes Next 🔘 PTN Pulse is not the destination. It's the signal before the broadcast. For those who rise consistently, who sharpen their craft and engage, there’s another layer waiting: PTN Broadcast. Where mentorship, briefs, custom opportunities, and deeper systems unlock. But you don’t get invited because you talk loud. You get there because you tuned in, showed up, and made the signal louder than the noise.
