Just over an hour till our Monday night perspective meeting. Starting your week on a strong foundation and a powerful perspective is one of the healthiest ways to kick it all off gentlemen. I want to start our meeting strong this week with a good scripture! Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” Let prayer guide you from beginning to end. For God will show you the way! Let get it men shoulder to shoulder, brick by brick.

Last night was solid. You guys showed up honest, present, and willing to look at their perspective instead of defending it. That’s where real growth starts. Appreciate every one of you who leaned in and did the work. Keep building, brick by brick.

For some reason I remembered a quote I read some time ago. It was St. Augustine who said "For what am I to myself without thee, but a guide to mine own downfall?" So true. Of course this is a man's prayer to his creator, but I also see it differently. I also see it this way: a man not having support, help when they need it, or a brotherhood such as this, can possibly lead you to your detriment or even downfall. Sometimes we can't do it ourselves...we need to look inward, realize and acknowledge that we can use the support, the help, the outstretched hand, and yes, the brotherhood. Just something to think about.
