Mesh Screen Printing - Sailing Ship
This is my 2nd time now using mesh screen printing - Amaco Inks black and Mayco mesh screen. I have been in contact with a company in Victoria Australia to have my own mesh screens made - looking into this. I will do a video next time I do a mesh screen printing on my pottery on the process of screen printing❤️

It looks great Linda! I have been meaning to try this.
To water test or not? That is the question? 💦
Had an interesting chat with a fellow potter at a market recently about water testing their pieces before selling… and they said they don’t 👀 It got me thinking how different everyone’s processes are, especially when it comes to functionality and finish. I’ve always been curious about what others do behind the scenes—there’s no one “right” way, but it’s such an important part of making process for me. So I’d love to know… Do you water test your pottery before selling, or not? 💬

I do water test each mug, vase, anything that holds liquid. I use a clay with a low absorption rate so rarely have a problem. But, if I am using a new clay body I always test. I have been disappointed with new clay bodies leaking…sometimes badly. I would feel awful if someone bought a piece of mine and it did not hold water.
Happy Weekend and Easter 🐣🌱🌷
Wanna give you all so much love and that you all have a wonderful weekend or day no matter what you celebrate 💓🥰🙏🏼Treasure each day. Remember to show kindness, love, hugs, support and know you are so valuable and good enough just as you are. Lots of love from me Therese in a snowy Sweden 🇸🇪 (I pray for some heat and sunlight to melt the snow and I can send some to Arizona and Australia if you want ❄️)

Before we hit 200, I just want to take a moment to recognise the heart behind all of this… 💛 Suza — thank you for creating this space. What you’ve built here is more than just a group… it’s a genuinely kind, supportive pottery community, and that is something really special 🥹 I feel so grateful to be part of it & SO appreciative for what you have created. And to everyone here — whether you post often or quietly follow along…you are just as much a part of this community 💛 I'm thoroughly loving getting to know you each more every week. 👇 It would be fab to hear from as many of our 199 members as possible (no pressure at all): How does this group fit into your day and what has being part of it brought you personally? It could be something small…a bit of inspiration with your morning coffee ☕something to listen to while you’re in the studio a confidence boost… or just feeling part of something Even a few words is perfect 💜 I'd love to be able to show our appreciation to the awesome lady that is Suza and share with her what an amazing community she has brought together in such a special safe place 💜

@Therese Dellenlund I agree this community is a break from all the ugliness around. It’s wonderful to have a safe, nurturing community to share on.

Thank you @Jeanette Stevens for this “thank you Suza” post. I usually check in during my morning cup of coffee, and then again later in the day. The live calls (I have only made the first one) are a great opportunity to connect on a deeper level. Some potters are shy and some potters are energetic, but all will find a place in this community…no pressure, just love and acceptance. 😊❤️
