This is a painting I did of the sun setting over the Oregon coast. It's a Christmas gift for my mom. She grew up in Oregon and we all spent our summers up there growing up. It has always been a magical place for me. The forests, the ocean, the misty atmosphere, the seafood. A far cry from the desert where I live now. When I think about being there, on that beach, watching that sunset - I am experiencing all those things now, in the present moment. When I think about going to work tomorrow and the things I have to do, that is happening now, not tomorrow. The only experience we can ever have is now. All thoughts, emotions, feelings, being itself, happens now. Now is eternal.

Ik have no purpose... I have no partner... I have no children... I have no job... I have no money... I have no family... I have no friends... I have no patience anymore... I have no home... I have no car... I have no peace... I have no vacation... I have no second home... I have no health... I don't have a good landlord... I have no time... I have no religion... I have no freedom... I don't have a good father... I have no social life... Yet I get up with a smile... with my talents... my perseverance... my feelings... my hopes... my insights... the days fly by and I miss nothing... I just look forward to my adventure... hopefully you do too.

Hello beautiful people! I read a post on here about TM and I decided to have someone help me learn it for 4 days consecutively starting today. It cost like 540 because of my household income and I’m paying over 4 months. Not too bad. They are going to meet with me soon for a 30 minute intro “get to know”. Then I will have my first session tonight in person. I am going to post daily after each session to update on my experience and then see how it helps me on my journey forward. I’ll be posting later tonight :)
