The French mountaingoat
Hi everyone! I have already introduced myself in the free general group. It seems I need to do it here again. Sorry to bother you if you already seen my post in the other group. Hi! I am Delphine from France. I am 43. Currently living between Luxembourg and France and will soon move to Switzerland. Riding bikes for 15 years. I am a pure climber, love racing in mountain events. I ride both road and Gravel. My favorite riders: Romain Bardet, Mads Pedersen, Ben Healy, Lachlam Morton among the men. Kasia Newiadoma and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot among women. Favorite race: TDF, Giro and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. My road bike: O2 Vam from Factor. Gravel: diverge sport Carbon from Specialized I am currently looking to upgrade and find a new gravel. Not easy for me since I am 154cm and it seems the bike infustry does not offer yet a lot of premium choices for small riders/women. If you have some ideas, let me know. I have been a Haute Route ambassador for 7 years but now I am looking for different challenges. I have a few races in mind for this year but one big challenge for me would be Gravel French championship. I am making my own training plans/bike fitting and I am happy I have found a real community of passionate cyclists.

Bike fit (Phil Burt)
Folks, Phil Burt is going to come on to our rider support live Q&A this evening for a portion. The masterclass I recorded with him last week is in classrooms under Academy. Any further bike fit questions you’d like covered this evening ?

Being disapointed by too bike fitting, I do it by myself. I am currently refining my cleat positioning to fix inner knee issues. ( cleat are enough far back and or not overused) My questions are as such: shall we really have knee parallel and not going inwards/ outwards or shall we respect our anatomy first( we are not symetric being) and what work for us? What is the more knee protective( toes in or out?) Finally : no one talks about lateral cleat positioning ( on Look pedals). How do I know if I should have my feet closer or with more space in between?
