Born and raised in Ly, and like many of you, I jumped into wholesaling after that moment when the 9–5 grind finally broke me. I remember sitting in my car before work feeling empty, knowing I needed a different life. That’s the same fire most of us carry when we enter this game. But let’s be real, the journey hits hard. Dead leads, ghosted calls, cold lists that feel lifeless. I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong. Turns out the leads weren’t dead… they were just untouched, un-positioned, and un-framed. Everything shifted when I started using something I call the Spotlight Post, a simple positioning move that warms cold leads fast and makes sellers lean in instead of disappear. It brought life back to leads I had already written off. Not saying it’s been smooth, this industry tests your patience and your identity.
