Capsule Wardrobe dialogue with my chatbot.
So, I did a thing. I took the signature style workbook, answered all the questions and loaded it into my ChatGPT “Sage” (who knows a lot about me) and she gave me a list of what my wardrobe pieces should be. I was able to ask questions about (for example) this pattern of shirt (she said no), or these shoes, (she said yes), or this dress (she said it’s a bad look from the side), and really helped me narrow it down. I also loaded up my body type and how i feel in certain things, and we discussed what’s the best style for the comfort level I’m seeking. I also told her my favorite brands and she included pictures of what my ideal style is. Connie’s workbook gave me the exact foundation needed to fine tune the wardrobe shift. I may not have used it entirely as Connie intended but it was so fun!! If you haven’t watched that classroom Capsule Wardrobe unit- you SO should. ❤️

Although new to meditation ~ I’ve been fortunate to experience guided meditation in the pool, yoga meditation, and the Insight Timer app. Each has brought a sense of peace and deep calm to my soul. 🌻 Sleep meditations are wonderful.
JOMO instead of FOMO
Please share a story of how you turned your FOMO into JOMO! You might inspire the rest of us, too! In case you're wondering: FOMO = Fear Of Missing Out, and JOMO: Joy Of Missing Out

@Jessica Borum Forgive my boldness—I was partly joking at the time. Until about two weeks ago, I expected to continue working in my current office. However, when you mentioned sending my résumé, I took it as a sign to put myself out there.

@Cristina Tudor Wow, you sound like a real world traveler—I love that! Italy and Asia are both on my bucket list. It’ll be so nice to slow down and really enjoy Asia while you’re there. Such a beautiful place to vacation. My niece taught English there and absolutely loved it.
Tiny Step🪴 Jan 16, 2026
Hello to our amazing women 💛 If you’re new here, each Friday we share one simple Tiny Step, something gentle, doable, and realistic, even on full days. These are small actions meant to create a little more peace and clarity right where you are. This week’s Tiny Step is a grounding practice designed to bring a sense of calm into your body in under a minute. It’s called 5-Sense Grounding. Whenever you remember today or this weekend, pause for a moment and gently name: 1 thing you can see 1 thing you can hear 1 thing you can feel 1 thing you can smell Then take 1 slow, intentional breath That’s it. Just coming back into the moment. I hope this brings you a small pocket of peace wherever you are today. 😊

I see nature all around me green plants, yellow purple, red and pink flowers. I hear the birds singing a sweet song. I feel the warmth of the sun on my face. I smell the soft fragrance from the soft peach English roses on my patio. 🌻
One Mindful Thing
Does anyone care to share a mindful thing that happened this week? One thing that stopped you and made you make a decision to choose a slower choice? Ribs. Mine was baby back ribs. Typically not a thing to cook just for myself, but-why not? I have no dinner plans lined up, so again, why not? I prepped them, fired up the smoker, and cooked them for hours. Tender and flakey, with just a little edge char-and the sauce was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. And I licked my fingers. And I loved every delicious bite. So glad I put that much effort into something just for me-that I really enjoyed. How about you?

@Connie Riet I loved your self-care advice so much. I’ve watched your YouTube videos for a while, so you feel like a celebrity to me—getting to talk to you one-on-one totally star-struck me!

@Kim Harrison Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words—they truly mean a lot to me. I’ve decided to take January off to reflect and decide whether I want to return to nursing or try something new. After high school, my first interest was actually physical therapy, but at the time there wasn’t a program in Phoenix. My daughter is now a physical therapist, and I’m incredibly proud of her. Becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy takes so much knowledge and dedication. I’m also really glad you’re able to work part-time and maintain a healthy work–life balance
