After reading Travis' post I knew I had to not overthink and make a move just to see what happens. I check out different blog sites at times just to see what they talk to their audience about and what they would be interested in. I reached out to one and it turns out he was thinking of selling it. It wasn't a large audience with only 18,000 people but they are buyers. He gave me the price he was thinking of selling for and after some talking he said he would be willing to finance some of it. But he would need a down payment upfront once we were going to close the deal. I asked him more about the audience and how much he typically sold. I proposed a test just to see how responsive they really are which he thought was fair and agreed to. Instead of splitting for a percentage of sales any amount over what he usually sells will go for the down payment. Making a bold move is looking like potential to use his own audience to buy his content site. Then I can use the Ronin skills to start a hopper group, repurpose some content to put in front of them, and do a sales saver to catch any missed opportunities. Making bold moves pay off and is just the win I needed to find more opportunities. It's just a matter of sending a simple message and wait to get the reply. With how we've learned to start conversations they definitely will reply.
