Hi everyone, I’m excited to share that I passed my DP-600 exam yesterday! Huge thanks to @Will Needham for the course, the community, and the invaluable notes. I honestly don’t think I would’ve made it without these resources — the notes, in particular, were a lifesaver during my prep. Regarding the exam format, I had 48 standalone questions, with 4 additional questions as part of a case study. The total time allocated was 1 hour and 40 minutes. In addition to Skool.com, I supplemented my study with MS Learn and completed numerous practice tests until I was consistently scoring above 78. To give you an idea, my first practice test in August 2025 only netted me a 42, so it’s been a journey of steady improvement. Stay focused, stay consistent, and I’m sure you’ll crack the exam too!

In terms of the exam, my version had one case study with 4 questions, and 48 standalone questions. The structure and format of the exam was pretty similar to the ones that appear in the Microsoft Learn assessment (i took two, couldn't score 78%, still passed the actual exam 😅 ). I would recommend also doing examtopics / measureup to give yourselves a better chance. One of my colleagues faced this question during his DP 600 exam last week. scenario where a Fabric tenant hosts a warehouse with row-level security (RLS), and a Direct Lake semantic model is established utilizing the Delta tables and RLS from the warehouse, what mode will the DAX queries operate in when users engage with a report generated from this model? Answer - Power BI queries on a warehouse in Direct Lake mode will fall back to Direct Query mode to abide by row-level security.
