My favorite place to play is around the fire!

Bossa8.mp3 backing track. I tryng new style. I learned in this one to play more smooth try to match the notes worked in warmth of tone. I would like to do more of this style . Would like to improve the ending. Like to feel more if the dance.

I've forgotten where I first learned this chord progression: D major - g minor C major - F major Bb major - e diminished A major - D minor Try it out here! Here's my morning improv with it. This was a fun way to start my flute day. I haven't listened back to the recording yet. Want to listen to it with me and notice some things? What are some techniques? What might you like to do the same? or differently?

I am in DC helping my daughter and her family and had the opportunity to do some more exposure therapy on the mall of the Capitol with the Washington Monument in the background on one of the videos and the Capitol Building in the other video. My grandson was sweet to video it for me. I haven’t played for a week due to travel and being here, and I didn’t have time to warm up before I played. I appreciate Vic preparing me for moments like this in my lessons. I liked that I went into some hymns and I like that I did it with people walking by. It was fun. I would have improved in confidence and taking more time.
