Improv in the Park #2
I went to our city park and did some improv as part of my exposure therapy 😄. There were people around and a couple of the guys who worked there talked with me about music and one said sounds great ma’am. Which was encouraging. I found the wind challenging to get the tone I wanted and my hair kept blowing in my face. Next time I will put my hair up. It was a bit stressful having the workers right next to me, but it was good to put myself in that situation. I would have liked to have let loose some more, but overall I am proud of myself for doing it and recovering when some of the notes didn’t come out as expected.

g minor-D Major Back Track
I am liking the minor chords. This was a progression I have not done.I was working on tone relish the note. I would like to do more of minor keys with different majors. I felt more in this but I need to play more on contrast and articulation and work on softs.and better vibratio.I am learning with the recording I have to be confident on what I can do, if my thoughts can not do more then what my skills are. Each one builds those skills along with improv games.

I like the chillness of it almost mysterious
Mary had a little lamb...with a twist...on cello
In Improv Games the other night, we did improv with Mary had a little lamb. This exercise reminded me of an arranging workshop I did over the summer at the Creative Strings Workshop using the same tune. We only had 10 minutes to create the arrangement, so it's basically all improv and we really had to listen to each other. Even though it's not on flute, I am hoping you will enjoy the arrangement!
