@Julie McKenna Ooh! Is this C-D-E - G? Sounding musical!!
Here's your chord chart for Hallelujah!
Here's your chord chart for Hallelujah (originally by Leonard Cohen)! Both in Roman numerals (best for transposing to other keys) and in the key of C (which we'll play it in tonight!)! Here's your homework: post in the comments your favorite cover of this song!

@Robert Johnson It is so interesting to me to hear how very different the various versions can be! I'm digging that organ solo in the middle!!

@Jodie Mesler I love how he makes the high notes sound so light & easy in the beginning! My voice was feeling a little stressed tonight on those high notes! <3
Is Flute Playing Therapeutic?
I had a really, really, really hard day today and the last couple of days were pretty tough too. I wasn't able to practice much the last few days. Tonight I got my flute out and had some time to play and I feel so much better and more peaceful. Does anyone else feel like playing their flute is therapeutic?

I have several friends who lead guided meditations under the label of "breath work." In these sessions, attendees report major catharsis and peace of mind just from spoken words and intentional breathing. I think that playing the flute is breath work in a sense every time we do it. And thus it can be cathartic. or calming. Sometimes we are more intentional with it than other times. But no matter what, it starts getting us out of a state of "frenzy" and into a state of "flow." Don't you think? How does it compare to other styles of meditation you may have been in?
