Fail: Planned on joining a local run club this morning. Drove to meet up spot at coffee shop but at the Sunday location not the Saturday location. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Flex: Ran and explored new area and discovered a good size hill that I’ll drive back to for future hill training. πŸ™Œ

Ooooh my goodness, I NEVER realized this didn't go live!! So see this as "this weekend's challenge"!! This week's challenge: create a fuel log for the monthly challenge. You can find the rules there. βœ… Rules 1️⃣ Use the monthly challenge run for this one. 2️⃣ Follow the rules there. Log your fueling across the full run: - Pre-run: what you ate and drank, and when - During: what you took with you and when you used it (or "nothing" if nothing!) - Post-run: what you ate or drank to recover 3️⃣ Post in this thread: - A copy of your fuel log as posted in the monthly challenge or a screenshot of your log there 4️⃣ Everyone who participates will be entered into the weekly spot prize draw. Fuel log weekly challenge. Rather than screen shot and post I can share my fuel log from today’s run β€’Pre-Run: 1/2 bagel w/ peanut butter and a banana. (Felt adequately fueled for a 10k) β€’During: 1 gu gel, rice crispy treat. (Gu gel helped with energy to continue running in heat. Tried rice crispy treat for some fast carbs, and quick glycogen boost. Prob only needed 1 but did both. Rice crispy was easy to chew and enjoy while running!) β€’Post-Run: 3 dates, protein shake Still fueled enough did a short strength workout and felt good Protein packed salad. Now want a nap haha

Anyone used a naked running band? Currently run with a hydration vest on long run days but kind of over using a handheld water bottle on shorter run days. I’d like to be hands free. I have a flip belt but don’t love it. Suggestions of others welcomed too πŸ™‚

I should have noted it’s a Nathan flask with the built in harness I run with. Original post doesn’t read like that at all πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
