What are your key takeaways from the Caux Inner Development Goals Forum 2025?
This year again, I had the chance to be present at the forum with my dear colleague Pascale. Here are our 3 key takeaways: Showing up in the face of complexity is challenging, at times even triggering, but it is also part of the solution. When we canโ€™t hold complexity, it is maybe a sign we need to take a regenerative pause before showing up again. Only when having an open mind, heart, and will can we spark meaningful change. Otherwise, we might well generate more division, suffering, and miscomprehension - even if we had the best intentions. Taking time to turn inwards, pause, and reflect are non-negotiable when we are change workers. For something mindful and meaningful to emerge, we need to develop the capacities and qualities to listen deeply to whatโ€™s present in order to feel what wants to emerge in the collective, social field. Our role as change workers, especially when coming from occidental settings, is to be mindful of our privileges as well as of inequalities in power and possibilities. There are many ways to conscientise and adapt our posture and to decolonize our minds, but they all start with listening and opening up to other perspectives and realities in order to get from a place of โ€˜power overโ€™ to a place of โ€˜power withโ€™. ๐ŸŒฑ We are now looking forward to already integrating some of the learnings of the past few days into our work at TransformAction Lab, as well as further reflecting on the topics of decolonisation and intersectionality in particular. Iโ€™d love for you to comment or get in touch if youโ€™d like to share reflections on our key takeaways or any of these important topics!ย ๐Ÿค—
What are your key takeaways from the Caux Inner Development Goals Forum 2025?
Soul and inner compass
โ€œThis was a too big stretch for my soulโ€ said the guy I met at the IDG mingling evening. He was speaking about his former company which was purely Business oriented. Now he is in a purpose-driven company. I thought that it was a nice way to express his inner compass voice. What about you? How do you describe or feel your inner compass?

My inner compass is what I'd call "knowing before knowing" probably, or intuition maybe. Something that resides within my entire being and resonates with the world around and within me.
My top 5 transformative pieces of wisdom from day 1 ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘‡ What are yours?
The IDG Summit started yesterday in Stockholm, but not only! The IDG Lemanic Hub gathered in Geneva for the first day of the summit. Shoutout to everyone who was there, looking forward to seeing you again ๐Ÿ˜Š Now, here are my 5 main takeaways, all aligning with, guiding, and reflecting the work we do at TransformAction Lab: โšก There is a gap between what's happening out there, meaning the destruction of ecosystems, and whatโ€™s happening inside of us. There are many ways to bridge that gap, although we have to remember that ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜€, such as climate justice and a flourishing life for all. ๐Ÿ›‘ We are mistaking means and goals. Economic growth is important, but itโ€™s just a mean, not the goal. The goal behind economic growth is to improve the quality of life for all - ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜† ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐˜. ๐Ÿคฏ We're not facing a sustainability crisis, but a behavioral crisis. Many frameworks, philosophies and practices can be helpful to untangle the individualistic myth we're caught up into when, really, I am because you are. ๐Ÿ’“ Love is the key to profound transformation. We know the odds when it comes to the climate crisis, but odds are insignificant in the eyes of love. Giving up is not an option, because we wouldnโ€™t give up on our family. Love is simply saying, Finally, to get us going: when trying to make a change in this world, what about imagining the best possible collective future, and walking backwards from there? To you all out here, what were your takeaways from yesterday? Keen to read you! ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ“ธ Wilma Hartenfels

@Gys Du Toit One of my colleagues at TransformAction Lab worked for Collaboratio Helvetica! Anna Krebs, might even have met her? The world would probably be largely different, the mindset especially.
