Happy Holidays, fellas! I hope that everyone is doing as well as everyone looks! I recently bought this pair of Magnanni sneakers. I’ve worn them a handful of times and have fallen out of love with them. Whenever I look down I feel like I’m wearing a clowns shoe with the brown leather contrasting to white soles. I realize that this is a popular style, so I’m sure that I’m in the vast minority here, but I was wondering if anyone has changed their shoe soles because of this and what color would you switch it to? Closing in on the last bit of work for the year. Each Christmas season, my wife's best friend and her family come over the evening to have dinner and a gift exchange. They always do a great job of selecting gifts and this year they nailed mine. In addition to some other non-sartorial items, they got me 5 high-end cedar suit hangers, a pocket square from Charles Tyrwhitt (shown below), and an item that will be hard to take down as my favorite received gift this year, Chales Tyrwhitt cufflinks where each CL is half of the globe centered on either the South Pole or the North Pole. I get very depressed/unmotivated/pretty much worthless during this time every year. Here, I was asleep 10 minutes before the picture was taken. I stay up till 4 doing/watching garbage until I pass out. Sleep is difficuilt these days and if I'm not exhaused I just lay there an keep my wife awake. Clockwork...every winter. At least I can lie to the world and pretend I give a shit! 5 minute after this was taken it was sweats and a drive to school. Vicious cycle...thanks for listenin'!
