Style Battle: Navy Suit vs. Charcoal Grey Suit? (Pick One & Why)
Gentlemen, if you could only own ONE suit for the rest of your life, which would it be? 👔⚔️ Two iconic suit colors. Two very different statements. And every well-dressed man has an opinion. THE NAVY SUI: Versatile, confident, and universally flattering. Navy reads as both formal and approachable, making it equally at home in a boardroom, at a wedding, or on a first date. Pair it with brown shoes for a classic look, or white sneakers for a modern edge. It's the suit that does everything. THE CHARCOAL GREY SUIT: The ultimate power suit. Serious, authoritative, and razor-sharp. Charcoal grey carries an undeniable gravitas that navy simply can't match — it's the suit you wear when you need to command a room. With a white shirt and black shoes, it's untouchable. The question: Which suit earns the single spot in your wardrobe — and why? Vote your pick below 👇 and tell me what outfit you'd build around it!

Absolute no brainer—it’s navy and always navy.
To tuck or not to tuck…
I’ve had this internal debate that I can’t seem to settle, doggone it! Ought we tuck the polo shirt into shorts and risk making the casual look a little too formal? Or leave the polo untucked and risk looking a wee bit sloppy? Or, it’s a polo and shorts- either way it’s a win, so who cares? What say ye, gentlemen?
Loafer Recommendations
Thoughts on the following companies for loafers: - Ferragamo - Allen Edmond - Thursday boots I know they are in very different categories. Just wanted some general feedback on them.

The only thing I’ve ever heard about AE is that their quality has declined but their prices have not. I own multiple pairs of Ferragamo’s, that I bought about 20 years ago, and they continue to be comfortable and gorgeous. The next time I need a new pair of dress shoes I’ll either buy them or Zegna’s.
Sunday morning
Temps near zero this morning. Broke out the herringbone wool overcoat again with an almost matching sportcoat. Shirt is a Charles Tyrwhitt tattersall, tie a silk Harold Powell, cotton ps, wrangler dress slacks, and Allen Edmonds tassel loafers with a natural rubber sole.
