111:During my practice, I perceived Hunyuan Qi as a viscous, shimmering, and evenly pervasive energy. Is this correct?
Dr.Pang said: That is incorrect. Hunyuan Qi is formless and without tangible attributes. What you perceive is merely a construct shaped by your own consciousness. First, observe whether you can truly sense the energy channels within your body. If you cannot, it indicates that your perceptual ability is not yet refined. Do not cling to or analyze the various sensations that arise during practice—let them go. The path of Qigong requires gradually relinquishing all acquired experiences to advance to higher levels. If one fails to do this, progress will remain stagnant.

🤔So many participants talk about their Qifeelings or feeling energy, next time searching for a similar experience. They really show themselves impressed. But that’s not the way. Emptiness. Empty mind and body first and only observe.

“By emphasizing the active use of consciousness as its primary principle, ZNQG captures the most fundamental aspect of ancient Qigong practice. Once this concept is understood and internalized, practitioners will actively apply consciousness during their practice, aligning their thoughts with the requirements of Qigong. Gradually, this approach extends beyond practice sessions into daily life, ensuring that all life activities conform to the principles of Qigong. As a result, the quality of life becomes entirely different. While this may sound simple, achieving it is far from easy. To accomplish this, we must thoroughly examine all aspects of consciousness. In daily life, our minds are constantly active, filled with numerous ingrained impressions. If we do not use Qigong knowledge to "cleanse" these imprints from our minds, it will be impossible to align our life activities with the requirements of Qigong. Therefore, let us now delve deeper into understanding consciousness.”
A beautiful training and check in daily life is to walk and just walk. Be aware of all our reactions and how often we are used to put labels on everything. By training this we can more easily integrate „not judging“ into other parts of our lives.

Welcome to the Zhongdao family and community 🤗
107:If you often struggle to retain what you read, how can you use intentionality after Qigong practice to improve this?
Dr.Pang said: Don't add any deliberate mental focus. Simply read calmly and attentively, word by word, without worrying about whether you remember it or not. Even if you feel like you haven't retained anything in the moment, the content will naturally emerge when you need it later. This happens because, in a state of tranquility and relaxation, the Yiyuan Ti becomes clear and receptive, allowing information to imprint clearly within it. If you start with a forceful intention like "I must remember this," that strong mental signal will leave a deeper impression than the content itself, undermining the clarity and openness of the conscious energy unit.
107:If you often struggle to retain what you read, how can you use intentionality after Qigong practice to improve this?
In my experience it’s the same with listening the theory and lectures. Listening with an empty mind without purpose of reminding, reference is changing. Relisten and repeat is like spiralling - the information is going deeper in subconsciousness, everytime the seed of information comes to a different ground. So the process described by Teacher Wu can work itself well.
