134:Some students experience a phenomenon of "hand discharging electricity" after practicing Qigong—sparks ("crackling" sounds) when touching objects, and even a slight electric shock sensation. Why does this occur?
Dr.Pang said:
This phenomenon is quite common in Intelligent Qigong practice, and sometimes occurs simultaneously among group practitioners. It is primarily due to an increase in the body’s electrostatic potential after sustained practice.
To address this, focus diligently on practicing Xing Shen Zhuang and consciously guide the energy inward. Generally, the condition will resolve within a few months, and typically does not persist beyond eight months.
Additionally, when this occurs, it is best to wear cotton clothing during practice, as natural fibers help dissipate static electricity more effectively.
