Merry Christmas!!
I just finished my English Camp speaking class, and I’m so happy! Today’s topic was Christmas—such a fun theme, especially with Christmas right around the corner šŸŽ„. In class, Coach Chris talked about how people celebrate Christmas in their communities: rocking Christmas hats, festive crazy socks, and those hilarious "ugly Christmas sweaters". Then we moved on to Christmas carols! Since we don’t really celebrate Christmas in China, most of us only know Jingle Bells—it’s super popular and easy to sing along to. Chris picked a few songs like All I Want for Christmas Is You, Blue Christmas, Jingle Bells and Jingle Bells Rock, and he taught us the last two. Singing along with him was so much fun (even with the lyrics, we sometimes messed it up, and we even lagged behind the rhythm a little)—I couldn’t stop laughing! 🤣🤣🤣All of us laughed loudly!! I totally felt the Christmas vibe. Just wanted to share this happy moment with you all. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance! A huge thank you to Coach Chris too! I also really hope it snows here soon—snow would be perfect for Christmas! Imagine the vibe: people gathering at home, singing carols, exchanging gifts, sending warm wishes, and enjoying a nice dinner, while a crisp chill lingers outside. It would make the reunion feel so much warmer. Wow, that sounds amazing!!! As I grow up, I’ve come to realize that festivals are more than just a time for celebration—they’re also a reason to hold beautiful expectations for the year ahead. It’s such a touching feelingā¤ļø. And you know what? I'm humming the Jingle Bells Rock as I'm writing this post!!😁
Merry Christmas!!

@Evelyne Vincent You mean you make the food like barbie?!! just to make her eat happily? I know that, you just told me😁. But I always surprised and touched by what you did to your kid, because it reminds me of my childhood and my mom did this for me too.

Candied Hawthorn Skewers
I just had a skewer of tanghulu(Candied Hawthorn Skewer), and I really want to share this snack with you. It’s super popular in China, easy to make, and it’s actually tied to my English assignment—I’m planning to introduce it as a traditional holiday treat, and I hope you’ll love it! The ingredients are simple: just hawthorns, wooden sticks, sugar, and a pan. First, wash the hawthorns thoroughly and let them air-dry completely—this keeps the sugar coating from sliding off later. Then thread the hawthorns onto the sticks to make skewers. Next, melt sugar in a pan over heat until it turns into a glossy syrup. After that, coat each hawthorn skewer with the syrup, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top if you’d like, and dip the skewers briefly into ice water to set the coating. That’s it! If hawthorns aren’t your thing, you can swap them out for other fruits—even some veggies work, like bananas, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, or grapes. You can experiment with almost any ingredient, and it always tastes great. Tanghulu isn’t just a snack, it’s a sweet, crunchy taste of holiday joy that’s loved by kids and adults alike in China. ć€ć€Šä½ å„½ļ¼Œäøå›½ Hello China怋ē™¾é›†äøč‹±åŒčƭ国ē²¹ę–‡åŒ–ē¬¬63集ļ¼šē³–葫芦Tanghulu-哔哩哔哩】 https://b23.tv/gk4xqCU

Might not be important for you
Hello everyone, i just wanna say, thank you very much! For this joy that I have never had it before during my entire life, and thanks to Coach Shane, his day is amazing. I would like to share some of my thoughts and feelings, I have been experiencing some problems lately, i can't talk about now, (i may talk about them in the future). So, i have decided to stop joining random hangouts and creating posts for a couple weeks. Of course, i am here in the community, you can dm me if you need help, I always love helping people. Also, as a coach, I have to focus more on my work to make this community better! And it is a responsibility, and I love this job! I will be back till I solve these problems! Thank you 😊
