58 year old dog groomer. Love what I do but lack joy in all other areas . Life has been very meh, and I don’t even know what I like anymore, so looking forward to this!

Welcome, Jodie. Fellow dog lover here. I'm glad you've found our community.
Why we get 'stuck' and what to do about it.
I was chatting on an Instagram live this morning and the topic of being 'stuck' came up. I feel like we often get stuck because we believe we need to 'fix' A, B and C (insert any uncomfortable emotion like guilt, fear of failure, lack of confience)... and then we'll go do the thing. The truth is A, B and C are always there. We need to bring them along for the ride

[ME WK 3; PROMPT 1] What if you just gave yourself permission?
When I was doing my inventories I found myself censoring items I'd 'allow; myself to add to the inventory, especially in the What I Want inventory. I'd tell myself: >> That doesn't really count. It's silly. >> I could never really do that. >> I don't think I could pull that off. >> Who am I to think I could do that? >> What would _________________ think? (Fill in the blank. This seems to be a universal fear we all have). >> Don't be ridiculous. That's so far out there. But, I gave myself permission to write them down anyhow. So, for today a question: What if you threw caution to the wind and gave yourself permission to write EVERYTHING down on your inventories. >> The stuff that feels 'too out there'. >> The stuff you don't want to admit (I had this in Lessons Learned and Experiences) >> The stuff you're afraid to want. >> The stuff you absolutely adore, but have never really admitted it to the universe before. Give yourself permission to write in ALL down.

@Nan Schultz Oh, I think we need to dream... and stay flexible. Sometimes we can miss the forest through the trees. You do something now that you enjoy. It's possible you could have gotten to lead a team or been an ad exec... and been disappointed in that. I think we always need to be open to new possibilties. Sometimes we can blind ourselves.

@Nan Schultz Uh... Actually, I think those are two different things. In this scenario, you KNOW you want an online business - for the freedom, creativity, flexibility, etc... The metrics around it - making $15k/month vs $200/ mo will depend on many elements (time commitment, niche, product price, etc...). I say dream BIG, manage your expectations around the difference in effort it takes to make $15k per month vs $200 per month. Where we might be looking at the same thing is saying 'I ONLY want an online business in THIS ONE NICHE (nothing else will do), but circumstances lead you to have an online business in a different niche than you imagined. Both are online businesses - but different topics. . Does this make sense?
ChatGPT for goals, a thing?
Hi all, I saw a similar post on LinkedIn like what Colleen in teaching about using ChatGPT to work on our goals. Here is the post that this person is doing. Thought it might be fun to try some of these: Apparently it worked for him 2025: 1/ 2026 Vision Blueprint “Here are my top 3 life goals for 2026: [PASTE GOALS]. Break them down into milestones for each quarter, and suggest the first action I should take this week for each. Prioritize them based on impact, time required, and urgency.” 2/ Weekly Execution Planner “Using my current goals: [PASTE GOALS] and fixed commitments: [WORK HOURS/FAMILY/OTHER], create a realistic weekly plan with no more than [X] focused hours per day. Highlight my top [1-3] non-negotiable priorities per day.” 3/ AI Business Starter Map “I want to start an AI implementation business in 2026. Given my background: [PASTE EXPERIENCE] list the 5 niches I could target, and outline the first 3 actionable steps I should take to land my first client within 3 months” 4/ Offer Creation Coach “Based on my skills and the niche I picked [PASTE YOUR NICHE + SKILLS]. Help me design a high-value AI implementation offer for small businesses. What problem should I solve, what’s my unique angle, and how should I price it?” 5/ AI Systems Checklist “Based on my technical experience [PASTE YOUR TECH EXPERIENCE]. List the 3 best no-code AI tools I can use to automate client work. For each, explain how to set it up and what results I can promise clients like mine.” 6/ Lead Generation Playbook “Give me a daily outreach plan to get my first 5 AI business leads in 30 days, using email, LinkedIn, and Instagram tailored to my background, niche and offer [PASTE IN THE ANSWERS FROM PREVIOUS PROMPTS]” 7/ Freedom Metrics Tracker “Based on my current situation, [PASTE YOUR CURRENT SITUATION]. Create a simple weekly tracker to measure my progress toward financial, time, and location freedom as I build my AI business. This should give me a plan for my day-to-day tasks”
