Home labs won’t go away—they’ll evolve. As long as people want hands-on learning, experimentation, and true ownership of their systems. The homelab will remain a core part of how technologists grow, regardless of trends or tooling. Cloud and automation change how we lab, not why. So I believe the homelab mindset isn’t disappearing.

@Brandon Lee & all, I am new homelabber, planning to take a spin at Lenovo Thinkcentre m90q Gen6 to start with. Any suggestions/ recommendations?

@Brandon Lee Well currently i am running single node proxmox on my old Dell latitude e5470 laptop on which i am hosting Netapp Ontap simulator for storage administration practice. But since it is low in specs sometimes i feel it is time to upgrade the underline H/W.
