Something Has to Change (If You Want Change)
Time and time again, I see the same heartbreaking pattern in the online entrepreneurial space. People want to build their own business. They want freedom. They want to make good money—or a lot of money. But they're drowning without enough money to live. Maybe they can't get enough clients. Maybe they get clients and then lose them. Maybe they're building up debt because they're not making enough money. They don't want to go get a job. Their significant other is stressed because the debt keeps climbing every month, and there's no end in sight. I don't have a perfect solution for everyone. But I can tell you this: **Something has to change if you want change.** And what I find most of the time is that people don't really face the depth of what that could mean. ## The Endless Cycle of New Ideas Week to week, they come up with different ideas on how to get out of it. They're going to try this tactic or that tactic. They're going to start creating content to get new clients. But they don't. They're going to start cold email. They send 2 or 3 and then stop. What I see—and I know several of these people personally—is they get completely stressed out to the point where it's hard to function. And it affects their performance, which creates a vicious cycle. I'm not going to pretend it's easy to get out of this. It can be incredibly difficult. ## My Own Rock Bottom I was in a very similar situation once. I was $30,000 in credit card debt and couldn't make enough money to get out of it. The only way I was able to escape was by working like a dog. I worked essentially 24/7—multiple gigs at the same time, morning till night. I was lucky enough to be in a situation where I didn't have kids yet, so it was possible. I had a girlfriend (soon to be my wife), but we didn't spend as much time together. I had to sacrifice. I didn't have work-life balance. I had work-life. A lot of it. But I made good money, and I was able to pay it off. I found a couple of good clients that had ongoing work, and I just worked my ass off.

The Secret to Success: Making Good Decisions When You Feel Your Worst The older I get and the more experience I have running a big business, I can say with confidence that—at least for me—the number one secret has been the ability to continue making good decisions when I feel my worst. And I mean the number one secret. Not just the number one secret today, with a different number one secret tomorrow, but the consistent, enduring secret to success (for me). When a customer leaves. When a customer says I didn't do a good job. When a colleague says something that hints that they're disappointed with something I did. When I fail to do what I said I was going to do. When something personal is pushing its way into my mind. When I'm scared and I can't wake up. When I don't know what to do. These are the hardest moments of all because it's in these moments where we tend to go off track. We tend to make the wrong decision. And it's become clear that it's in these moments where you have the ability to stay on course and to continue on the path that you had declared important—or you can veer off. You can get distracted. And do any number of things that are not on that plan. So at least for me, what I can say is most of any of my success at this point right now, whatever that might be, is a result of making the right choice when I lost the ability to think rationally. And climbing my way back to a place where I make decisions aligned with my goals and values, even when everything feels like it's falling apart. Usually perspective is a good way to climb out, because life it pretty damn good, in so many ways. But as we all know that doesn't always work. But it's often the best way that I've found to get back on my feet. Hope you're having a good day = )

Don't Trade Ignorance for More Ignorance
In the world of online marketing, one of the most commonly taught strategies is to be contrarian—to take an opposing view. This approach is powerful. It creates a compelling marketing message and can grab attention. But in the pursuit of being contrarian, there’s a dangerous trap that many fall into: trading one ignorance for another. The Trap of Contrarianism When you take a contrarian stance, you're often positioning yourself against an existing belief, claiming that the other side is wrong or ignorant. But if your opposing view is just as uninformed, you're no better off—and you may even come across as foolish. You risk becoming nothing more than the flip side of someone else’s flawed perspective. The key is not just to be contrarian for the sake of being different, but to identify real ignorance and counter it with actual truth. A well-formed contrarian stance isn't just about disagreeing—it’s about finding a deeper understanding that others may have missed. A Real-World Example: AI and Writing Since I work in the AI space, I see this all the time. Many writers and marketers attack AI-generated content, claiming that without a human touch, all AI-written content is worthless. There is some truth to that—right now, AI still requires human oversight to ensure quality. But this argument also exposes the ignorance of those making it. Yes, AI still needs human refinement today. But it won’t always. The trajectory of AI development is clear: it is improving rapidly, and soon it will be better than humans at many writing tasks. Those who build their entire marketing message around the idea that "AI content is garbage without a human" are setting themselves up for a reality check. Their argument isn’t rooted in long-term truth—it’s a short-term justification for their own value in the marketplace. If you want to make a strong argument, it has to hold up not just today, but in the future as well. Otherwise, you’re just swapping one form of ignorance for another.

@Anton Nentchev I listened to the whole thing. The content was great. I'd try to do the meat part of each part of this video to fit in a 5 to 7 min time frame. I would have to re direct my attention to making sure what I was listening to and trying to make sure i understood your message. But great job on the video. I will subscribe to your channel and post a like. It definitely resonated.
