A New Space to Nourish Body and Mind
After our chat yesterday, Therese suggested that we could use a new category — and I absolutely love this idea! A space where we can talk about the many things that nourish our bodies and our minds. Since we all come from different regions and have such unique experiences, we can really inspire and support each other in living a healthy, balanced, and beautiful life. What we “feed” ourselves — both physically and mentally — has such a big impact on how we feel and how we move through life. So, we’re expanding our topics with a new category called Nourish 🌿 Under this heading, you can share your recipe ideas, health tips, wellbeing routines, or even ask questions and start conversations around these themes. I’m so excited about this, because our on-topic chats are always so thoughtful and inspiring — and this community is just wonderful. 💛 Go for it and share what nourishes you!

In other blogs the subject of taking care of ourselves. Pottery is messy so sometimes we forget to fix our hair and wear makeup because we are just going to do pottery . It was bringing up self-care. Nourish is a great idea. thanks for thinking of that.

A Small Mosaic Detour That Made Me So Happy
A few weeks ago, I started a pretty ambitious project: making my own little mosaic tiles for the washstand area in our bathroom. Two days ago, I finally pulled the first finished tiles out of the kiln. I only meant to place a few next to the sink to get a sense of how they might look… and that’s when the whole plan shifted. I realized that a simple border around the sink might actually be enough to make the space look beautiful again—and to cover up those chipped spots that had been bothering me. So I counted all the tiles I had, and to my surprise, the number was exactly right for a full border. At that moment I decided to turn the “big project” into a “small-but-perfect project.” I laid out all the tiles around the washstand, and I’m honestly so thrilled with the result. Now all that’s left is adding a bit of silicone along the edges, and then the whole washstand makeover will be complete. Feeling very proud and happy—sometimes the smaller projects really are the sweetest!

Green Glaze suggestions
I have a plant pot that I brought because I love the shape & colour. I want to try & recreate it. Can anyone suggest what glaze combo I could use to get something similar 💚
