Hello everyone! I am a former decades long corporate dweller in clean tech who is now prioritizing her creative spirit. I am a Luminary archetype with I feel a strong side of Weaver. I imagine a future of mine that includes workshops, speaking gigs and best selling children's & young adult books with a sprinkling of an art show here and there. I am the host of a mind expanding (think mediums, telepathy, intuition, rewilding, creative soul), journey celebrating podcast called Miles to Zen. I love chocolate, dark and am on a first name basis with a local Belgium chocolatier....🤭 I am so thrilled to be in a space with all of you fabulous unicorns. 🦄💜

If you recall our incredible community member Shabana put an offer out there to send personalized Valentine’s Day cards because she was having so much fun making them. She asked about my favorite animal and so I told her that my favorite animal is my lovebird Rain who passed away on 11.11 last year. I just got the card and it absolutely brought me to tears. Shabana put a gorgeous note & drew the most beautiful picture of Rain that I had sent her with a beautiful message that she’s sending me love from above. I just wanted to take this moment to celebrate the beautiful women and souls in this community and how Shabana, just following her joy & fun, brought me happy tears & touched my heart so deeply. I couldn’t be more thankful for Shabana, the generous, thoughtful, kind, & loving soul she is & all of you in this community!

Hi all! I’m Katie. I’m an author, a poet and novelist. I write middle-grade fiction. I also facilitate writing groups for teens in my local community. I love the freedom of my creative work and the joy of making it my own. One of my favorite parts is traveling to cool places for writing research with my family. Of course, I also enjoy the coziness of writing in early morning alongside my dog. I’m in Indianapolis, Indiana. My favorite snack is definitely chips and salsa. So glad to be here!
