Hey everyone, just thought this was something worth sharing. I used one of my tracks "Fiery Wings" from my latest Epic Score Album and gave Google Veo 3 a test ride and created a little AI movie. I am aware that there are still some inconsistencies going but if you consider how it looked a few years ago, I am floored. This will be absolutely exciting for building video footage for your demo reel!

This time we want to head into the direction of trailer music. So in case you are interested in this style, feel free to participate. Now, here is the mission: Write an 8 bar epic and powerful percussion loop. Feel free to pick any tempo, time signature and libraries. The only goal is to make it as epic, powerful, driving and nerve-racking as possible 💥 It should be that kind of arrangment happening towards the epic main theme. Please only focus on the percussion arrangement itself. No additional instruments. Deadline is the 7th of March! I don't want to put pressure on it, but it is just an 8 bar loop, so it shouldn't take too much time 😊 Please post your examples IN THIS THREAD as a comment. Make it a downloadable file, so either directly attach the track to your comment or use a Dropbox or GDrive link set to publically available. Do not open a new post or send it to me via DM. Hey everyone, if you are interested to find work in the video game industry, the music writing process is a bit of a different one compared to all the other industries. One of the most important skills is to create music that loops perfectly. ... and here we go with our next challenge. The Video Game Loop Challenge! 🎮 1. Find the picture attached to this post 2. Write a 60-90 sec loop that is fitting the scenery 3. Only focus on the music itself, no sound design, no additional voiceovers etc. 4. The file should be attached to a comment on THIS thread. I would need to be able to download to check it in a DAW or an audio player. Requirement: The audio loop has to loop seemlessly when playing back and perfectly fit the scenery. There should be no glitch, no pause, no hicup or any other sort of distracting stuff going on at the transition point. The winner will be drawn at the end of January 2025.
