Question about frequencies (vocals and piano)
In studying some on frequencies, and doing some mixing, I understand that one of the battles is “carving out” some of the piano to allow the vocals to shine through. My question: would having the pianist play the low part (left hand) an octive lower and the high part (right hand) an octive higher be wise to help with that battle? Or is it best to keep the piano in the same octive as the vocals?

That plugin is WONDERFUL! I have a track that is me talking with some piano playing softly in the background, and I just couldn't get it quite right. This plugin makes it sound much better. Thank you for sharing!

Feedback on a song
Hey everyone! If you have a sec, I'd love to get some feedback on a new song. I'm especially wondering if you are hearing any harsh resonances with the vocal in the beginning? And just general feedback about how things are sitting together! Thanks! https://on.soundcloud.com/lELeqZyhhSM55y8kMb

Parts of it sound like a feedback sound of when a microphone gets too close to a speaker.
