Skool is putting on a "category design" masterclass in real time
Skool is giving us a "category design" masterclass in real time In the book "Play Bigger," the authors explain how some of the most successful start ups of all time didn't spend time going to war with their competition in their category They simply designed a new one. Uber, AirBnB, Sales Force, and so many other companies deployed this strategy and quickly took up large portions of market share by designing their own categories Designing your own category rather than playing in someone else's creates demand, attention, and usually leads to market disruption And this is exactly what Skool is doing right now But the way their doing it? It's actually something that is running behind the scenes, and a lot of people in this community have been a part of it...👀 I just recorded a 15 minute video where I dive into this strategy Enjoy!
We launched an event with Greg Isenberg (Full Case Study)
A few weeks ago, we launched an in-person event with Greg Isenberg. Here's how it went: ✅ 6-figure launch ✅ Sold out ✅ 9.04/10 attendee satisfaction score ✅ 79 Net Promoter Score (anything above 70 is considered excellent) I just recorded a full breakdown on the strategy we used to bring this event to life! Enjoy :)
Small win :)
Hit 300 subs on YouTube today! Huge thanks to anyone in this community that tunes into the vids every week. For so long I was screaming into the void with absolutely no one watching, so i’m grateful to have found my people Love ya’ll❤️ Onwards!
Small win :)
🐧 Antarctica! 🇦🇶
In one weeks time, 26 Skoolers (including myself) will be boarding a cruise ship to head down to the south pole we have a 4 day mastermind planned on the way there & back we will be seeing penguins going kayaking enjoying meals together as a large group but i feel like something's missing. What ideas do you have for me to implement into this event / experience to make it the best it possibly can be? Thanks Bullish team & fans! 🫶

hey bro! first, it sounds like it’s already going to be an amazing event🔥 but here are some ideas based on what we do at our masterminds: 1. Give & ask session: At masterminds, we like to tap into the attendees expertise. A way we do this is through give & ask sessions. The way these work is someone gets up in front of the group, and has 15 minutes to present. The “give” part is providing value to the group, and the “ask” part is asking the group for help on something. They can split up their give & ask however they want, so 5 minutes could be give & 10 minutes could be ask, or 7 minutes could be give & 8 minutes could be ask. This is a cool way to tap into the collective intelligence of the group. Since your group is so big, you can select a few people to go each day or something like that 2. Facilitated networking: We like to take the heavy lifting off of attendees when it comes to networking & connecting at events. This could be done through promoting, activities, games, etc. It sounds like you guys are going to be doing a lot of activities, but it might be a good idea to have some prompted networking with really good questions for people to ask each other. 3. Live builds: Not sure how many actual sessions ya’ll will be having, but giving the attendees a chance to actually build something is cool, rather than just teaching. For example, if Goose does a talk on community, you guys can give attendees time to brainstorm what their theme could be. It’s always good to pair information with implementation 4. Small groups: Going off of #3, if you have any live building happening where people are reflecting/working on something/implementing something, it’s always a good idea to have them share their results with a small group. Those were some initial thoughts! If anymore come to mind i’ll send them over. That being said, the most valuable part of masterminds is proximity to other people on the same journey as you, which is already happening. I think it’s gonna be a huge success🫶 Excited to get the debrief once y’all get back
