Gain Credibility Through Events
One of the most powerful aspects of hosting an event is the credibility that comes along with it... This may apply to some virtual events, but is definitely more applicable to in-person events. When you start hosting events for your community, you immediately separate yourself from the rest of the pack. You become the authority in your industry. Events allow you to: -Show case your expertise -Bring your people together, which shows you actually have people -Create transformational experiences for your attendees -Interact directly with your attendees -Answer questions in real time, which further anchors you as the expert -And so so so much more... And all of this leads to credibility & authority. If you go look at any industry leader and search through their business, 99% of the time you will find that they are hosting events & bringing their people together And that's because events work. What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts belowšŸ‘‡

So my clients are business owners who are currently struggling online or want to be an online coach/consultant. The main thing I teach is, in person events build three things to make online so much easier. 1. Content 2. Credibility and 3. Confidence. The credibility part is the most important!

@Ethan Simons 100%!! Also every single one of the major online coaches today first utilized their local market first with events.
skool is bullish on events
Yo yo! Happy Tuesday :) A few days ago, the host of the official skool podcast made post in the skool community about how valuable it is to integrate in-person events into your skool community... ...the entire post was great, but I want to share one nugget that really resonated with me: "3. Your Community is craving in-person connection more than you think. People spent thousands of dollars to fly to Belfast from places like Canada, France, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, United States, and Australia (35 hours). The one reason they came? "Proximity," AKA to be around: - Like-minded people - Who are trying to achieve the same goal - And a group where they felt like they belonged This is the reason people joined your community in the first place. Why not take it offline?" I could not agree more with this! Not only do humans have a deep desire to connect with others, but they have an even deeper desire to connect with others that are similar to them. When you start a coaching business or a skool community, you are bringing together people that have similar interests, goals, and ambitions... It's almost cruel to NOT bring them together for an in-person event. I understand that we are advancing as a society, and there are a lot of benefits of virtual events, but virtual events will NEVER be able to give your customers & attendees the same experience as in-person events. What do you think? Let me know down below in the commentsšŸ‘‡

I love this! Being a person who loves events and that real ā€œon the groundā€ marketing, this really hits home for me. I work with business owners every week who value this same thing!
How events elevate your brand
Based on my experience & what i've seen in the industry, one of the biggest benefits of integrating events into your business model is that they elevate your brand. Here's how: 1. Positions yourself as an authority - when you begin hosting events, you are now playing on a whole different level than the rest of your competitors. When delivering value, gathering speakers, and bringing people together around a specific niche, you start to become a though leader of that niche. This strengthens your brand, reputation, credibility, and community 2. Creates personal connections - this is mainly applicable to in-person events, but events really bring your brand to life and "humanize" it. You are able to build a personal connection with your current and future customers... especially in today's world where everything is online, this is extremely rare & valuable. No matter how much we develop as a society, humans will ALWAYS need to gather. 3. Community - I briefly mentioned this in the first 2, but events are great for cultivating a strong community around your brand. People will associate your brand with a place they can go to connect, learn, and build relationships 4. Showcase your skills - events are an amazing opportunity for you to show off your skills! Although ads, organic content, blogs and emails are a great way to display what you know, nothing quite compares to being able to let it fly during an in-person or virtual event... events allow you to be more natural, and they also allow you to adjust your content to fit the audiences needs. 5. Content - when you host events, one of the most valuable assets that comes from the event is the content. You can run this content as advertisements, have it on your website to validate your brand, repackage it and sell it, etc. Even better - if you can get some testimonials from your attendees, then you are set. When someone is attending your event, they are typically in a peak state, and will (usually) deliver a much better testimonial than if you were to get one via zoom on a random week day.

All of these are facts! Been in the events industry for over 10years and this couldn’t be more true. Although hosting my own events is something I’ll do in the future for now I execute events for business owners and I actually offer content collection as a service (aside from what the videographer may be collecting if there is one)
