Staying Organized
I am curious what methods everyone is using to stay organized. I feel like I'm always searching for something that allows me to quickly save bookmarks, notes, screenshots, etc. I have Notion, which is cool, but seems to get disorganized for me quickly. I started using MyMind, which so far I am really liking for how quickly I can save things, but it isn't great for collaboration. You can give someone temp access to a space, but nothing ongoing that would be suitable for collaboration. I'm about to give Fabric a spin, supposed to be sort of a cross between MyMind and Raindrop and at least it has a free tier. You can check it out here: https://fabric.so This is the link they gave me to skip the waitlist: https://go.fabric.so/beta-sign-up-exclusive-link/bb-38039 This also looks like a cool website for testing, discovering, and storing front end code: https://codepen.io Anyone have other suggestions that you would suggest checking out?

@Alan P I do like to use my Apple Pencil sometimes with goodnotes and notability. It definitely seems to sink in better, just not as easily accessible for me when it comes to links and referencing specific items down the road.
Coding Assistants
What do you guys think of the different coding assistants for either learning to code or building whole apps? I’ve been considering these because they have lifetime deals on appsumo: https://codesnippets.ai/ https://www.codemate.ai/ https://playcode.io/ A few weeks ago I played around a bit with Open Interpreter on my PC, which was really cool. I realized it could not really handle the PDF’s I had it working with. It would definitely work much better with data that is formatted in a way that is more clear. Also curious to test out DevGPT and AutoGen. Has anyone really played around with these yet? I was finding it pretty annoying trying to get things going on my M2 Mac, so I had to use my PC’s, but I was able to download Codellama instruct 7B on my MacBook using LM Studio. That was much simpler to implement. Although it would get to a step and then just keep repeating itself until I stopped it. I believe the windows option had more available LLM’s to pick from to download. https://lmstudio.ai
No-code / Low-code and AI development
Hey guys, I come from a no-code/low-code background. I have worked a lot with Make.com, Zapier, Airtable etc. I am curious about your vision on building AI apps in combination with no/low code apps.

Same. I used to use WinAutomation and IMacro, and in more recent years Power Automate, Automator, and Macro Recorder. I am always shocked with the amount of people wasting so much time on tasks that could be automated. I believe no code/low code tools are going to make it so much easier and quicker for people with great ideas to create MVP’s much cheaper and faster, but understanding the overall structure of how the code and technologies all fit together will make it much easier to fully maximize the potential of these tools.
Two Lessons learned to end the day
# Lesson 1: Data quality is most important. - devops_toolkit_one.txt It's **VERY** important to make sure that the data that you're using is 'good' data. See the attached example, 'devops_toolkit_one.txt', the entire script is littered with *Ian*. The author was trying to saying 'Aiven'. Considering there is a lot of content on you tube that could be benefitted from by just reading transcripts, as opposed to listening or watching. This highlights the necessity for data quality. Even the state of the art won't be able to do anything with this kind of data. *Update*: Upon further examination, the actuality is it was substituting 'Aiven' with *Ivan*. Which leads to Lesson 2. # Lesson 2: You probably want that Metadata and... Watch the damn video. - devops_toolkit 2.json I watched part of the video and assumed that Ian stood for 'Aiven' when actually, *Ivan* stood for it. This leads me to a critical point, especially for people who aren't speaking clearly, the Heading, subtitles, and descriptions matter in the form of Metadata. I mention this because, it seems like youtube video transcription is becoming more and more popular as the AI craze has been refueled. Also, for the scrappers... Collect and store that Metadata with your scrapes, and also... Be mindful of others servers, we're all experimenting at some point. Don't overload someone else's servers, and be mindful of how you're using content. Anyways, just a thought after working with... https://aws.amazon.com/transcribe/ https://ffmpeg.org/ https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp https://aws.amazon.com/bedrock/ https://python.langchain.com/ Credit to the video creator, interesting video for managing your databases at scale, multi-cloud, using a nice gui. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhlY7kkAw7w

Hi, I’m Bianca and I live in the US. I have really enjoyed creating macros and coda docs to automate repetitive tasks and want to expand my knowledge so I can provide more thorough automation services for small business owners.

I'm launching an automation agency to apply the skills I've acquired over the years while continuing to learn and expand my coding abilities.
