Hey guys! It has been almost a year since my inactivity, since, well, life got in the way. But my collection has grown up since, and not just the watch, but the watch box as well (meaning I curse myself to fill up at least 12 watches, since the previous box already has 4 slots lol) Between my last spinnaker purchase update I managed to snatch an Orient diver and recently an automatic AVI-8 Aviator in a new year sale. I think I'm kind of done with Orient for now and looking for new brands in similar price range to try next. Any suggestions?

While Vostok is a company that specializes in military timepieces, This Slava ('Glory') was a company that produced watches purely for civilian applications. It's smaller and thinner than the Amphibia and is a manual wind movement. I got this 80's model used at a very reasonable price, and it has Cyrillic day markers. I haven't seen another one like it. I don't use it on my sub-zero temperature walks, though, hehheh.

36mm pagani. wouldn’t say it’s my favourite because i’m more of a 38-40mm guy. i didn’t look properly while ordering this watch but i really liked it so i went ahead and ordered it.
