First Client Help - Retell agent still mispronouncing “Regina” (need fix)
My Retell voice agent keeps pronouncing “Regina” wrong — it says “Re-gee-na” when it should be “Re-gy-na” (like China). I’ve tried: - Adding the correct pronunciation in the Retell pronunciation settings - Putting the correct phonetic spelling directly into the prompt - Using SSML, CMU phonemes, and IPA - Testing multiple formats and voices Nothing has worked consistently. By the way, I’m using GPT-4.1. Has anyone found a reliable fix for this? Would really appreciate any tips.

First Client Retell agent picking up its own voice issue
My Retell voice agent sometimes “hears” itself — it picks up parts of what it just said and treats it like I said it, which messes up the conversation since it's basically talking to itself. I’ve tried lowering sensitivity, disabling backchannel, slowing responses, and other tweaks, but it still happens. Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? I would deeply appreciate any help. Urgent quick help
Hey, Im trying to integrate my Retell agent into Make so that at the end of each call, it sends a text summary to the business owner. I have most of it set up but I'm having trouble with getting the text summary to include certain fields and information that the AI collects on the call like the callers address or email. If anyone could hop on even just a 5 min call, that would be super helpful because I think there's some quick fixes/insights that someone with experience with this would know. Do you need to turn off Retell’s call storage for HIPAA compliance?
Hey everyone — I’m setting up Retell for small healthcare clinics and want to make sure it’s HIPAA-compliant. From what I understand, as long as you sign the BAA and leave the “Opt out of sensitive data storage” toggle off, Retell keeps call recordings securely and you stay compliant. But I’ve seen some people say you have to turn on that toggle and handle call recording storage yourself to be compliant. This would then require sending the call recording Web hook to your own server/database vs just storing it in retell. Can someone confirm if you actually need to turn off Retell’s call recording storage for HIPAA or if you are allowed to store the call recordings in retell? Also, if anyone’s willing to hop on a quick 5-minute call so I could ask a couple more questions, feel free to DM me — would really appreciate it!
