Symphony by LV - Full Wear thoughts
Managed to get a full wear of Louis Vuitton’s Symphony yesterday. It’s a beautiful citrus fresh scent that lasted a good six hour on my skin and was intriguing throughout. It’s blended extremely well, maintaining its freshness without fading away or mutating as single aspect faded. Its citrus heavy, leaning towards Afternoon Swim, but it’s a little smoother and a great deal more balanced. At £500 a bottle I need a good hard think, and I will hunt down a dupe or two for the itch. Also, the cap is a travesty. It looks like a gentleman has chromed his personal tissue.

Here we go… sample of the new Creed fragrance, Wild Vetiver. Will test, and share the lowdown later.

@Lon Chaneyfield just waiting for my current fragrance to fade a little. It’s 9pm by Afnan so that might take a while!
Collection Pics
Was looking through collection pics for inspiration, and honestly, it helps a ton—both for smarter purchases and for knowing who to ask when I’m curious about a fragrance. I feel like collection posts are one of the best resources we have here (and decants are always welcome too—best way to build fragrance knowledge without going all-in). If you’re up for it, I’d love to see some updated collection pics in this thread—kind of like what @George Hernandez has done in the past and @Michael Marchand has just done recently It’s a great way for newer/rising brothers (and those of us who haven’t connected much yet) to get a better sense of everyone’s taste and what knowledge you bring to the table. A picture really does say a thousand words, and it makes the interactions in the brotherhood feel more personal and connected. If you haven’t posted a collection pic in a while and feel like sharing, I’d especially enjoy seeing yours: @Elliott Jones , @Srinesh C m , @Bryan Wong , @Adeel Arif , @Ferdinand De Dobbelaere , @Calvin Ng , @Craig Stevenson , @Mike Jermann , @Roland Wright , @Tim Nicklis , (No pressure at all—only if you feel like it.) I’ll add more names as I keep browsing, but mainly wanted to start a spot where we can all share collections for inspiration and better convo. Appreciate you all.

I’ll see what I can do :-)
Decanting from Testers at a Store
Would you take a decanting atomiser and fill it from a tester at a department store fragrance counter? (I ask because I’ve just left a fragrance group on Facebook because I appear to be wholly out of step with the folks who post there.)

@Mark DiCiero I’m actually against over spraying at a counter. I’m generally 1-or-2 sprays on card or wrist, or maybe 4 sprays on neck and arms for a full test wear after asking the staff if that’s okay (no one has ever said it’s not). When I see someone just hammering twenty sprays of Aventus before walking off without a word, it angers me. I do realise that I’m likely in a minority on that one though. 😊

@Nick Clemente nordstroms sounds cool! None of my local stores offer that service.
Ominous looking…
Looked out back this morning and there is some fog that has developed with the snow melting. It looks like a set up to a horror movie lol

@Jeff Beason Crack out the Encre Noir. I’ve heard it described as “the fragrance Dracula would wear”. 😆
