The Parfums dropped a 15% off code today, but… yeah, they also bumped their prices since yesterday!! First screenshot is from yesterday, second is from just a few minutes ago. And it’s not just one fragrance, they did this across most of their lineup. Let this be a reminder, folks: a lot of these “sales” aren’t really sales. Sure, you might end up paying $5–$10 less, but raising the base price right before offering a discount is pretty disingenuous. And it’s not just The Parfums—this happens across tons of stores this week. Please do some research before pulling the trigger and don't fall for the FOMO that comes with Black Friday!!

I was expecting a bottle of Creed Centaurus, Gucci guilty love edition edt, and Gucci by Gucci from a freind of a freind. Someone I trusted obviously but then again I’m unfamiliar with the source. What I received was a Creed Aventus, Gucci guilty love edition EDT, and one million lucky because the Gucci by Gucci wasn’t available apparently. I started with the aventus thinking “win” my current bottle is getting lower and who dosent want a backup for $50. Well if it sounds to good to be true it always is. My novice skills in spotting a fake instantly kicked in and I noticed I’d been had. Rippling in the label was red flag one, I’ll fitting cap was next, and lastly the smell. Not Aventus. Not even a shadow of what aventus couldve been on its worst day. Lesson learned with this one. The Gucci guilty love edt passed a few of my initial checks with a working batch code, proper looking box and something that’s smells like it could easily be from the line. However now I have a real bad taste in my mouth so I’m still unsure (Help me someone)! The one million lucky also passed a few preliminary checks however the hardware on the front of the bottle is a little loose. The smell however definitely smells like the right stuff, but then again can I know for sure? Despite being manufactured more than 5 years ago on both I think they’re legit but my online searches for real/fake comparisons left me at a dead end ultimately, so again someone please help. Thinking about this concept a lot today, and it has me wondering: If you were doing this concept, what perfumes would you include? If you could have any 4 to choose from and money is no object (let's pretend for the sake of the discussion that they are extremely well done clones, and the owner is you best man and giving you everything for free as a wedding gift), which 4 perfumes would you put out?

Needed a bit of a boost today so dipped into my Tom Ford area for that. In my opinion this is the one that should be called King more than any others, because that is what comes to my mind. This smells like the person on the room that is in charge and will take care of you. It’s a beautiful scent, but with a dark edge. The fragrance is bold without being too loud, It makes a statement without asking for your attention. I love it, always go back and forth between this and Noir extreme as my favorite Tom Ford.
